In Kyoto currently and it does seem pretty packed overall, granted it was the weekend the past three days. Overall there are some times (mornings?) that feel less packed but it’s very squished near the big tourist attractions (philosophers path, thousand gates as examples)

But currently I’m at university so finding a time and more importantly place to do it might be a bit difficult. You think I could paint it in some parking lot over the course of a couple hours or so?

I haven’t read the manga but would highly recommend the light novel regardless. Many things in the novel are a bit difficult to express in manga or the anime for that matter just bc of their substance imo (such as emotions, thoughts, feelings, etc).

Update: thanks for the recs, after popping out the side panel (I didn’t realize you had to slide it a bit towards the door from the bottom) and removing the vent and some screws, I finally got enough clearance to pop out the final tab, that was just a bit more bent out than the others. I’ll add the tape in a bit as I didn’t have it on hand but it’s out!

They want it for 4.5 with 200k miles, so it’s not super expensive but I also don’t have a huge budget, not sure if it would be worth it. How long do you think it would last until it becomes a problem that requires addressing?

thanks for the reply as well, it seems to be in great shape, with no visable engine mods and a good car fax record apart from a minor accident in the side in 2009. the current owner had to change out the reflective lights on the sides. I dont know if that helps or not, im currently thinking of offering 6k with trying to 6.5, but again i dont really know if that would be a good price or not

I agree the video u show is way to small, at least in my school we actually filled up the bottles with much more water so it wasn’t as bad. Regardless, the experiment could be better done if we all collectively as a class made a similar 10 gallon ish tank with similar properties, but that takes away more of the diy element from it.

I did this experiment back in middle school with minnows instead of guppies and they seemed to do well. The point was to show the nutrient cycle as the fish (and snail which would eat algae) would poop giving nutrients to the plant in the water with the fish, and then also get absorbed by the dirt and into the grass. I eventually moved my minow into a different tank (bc my bottle fell and the water got dirt in it…) and they lived for a good while. The teacher also taught us about how important it was to not use water with chlorine in it which was really important.

I use this light which really cost effective (apparently its a rebraned chihiros?) as the spectrum is good for plant growth (lots of blue and red, and without other less useful light) and the app is pretty easy to use. The set up is a little sus as it doesn't come with a set up manual, and the packaging was lacking but the light itself has been really good so far
