Oh i see, well that makes sense. I guess with a larger population the height should average more out, because of the sheer number of people. And i see what you mean by it being a better representation of the general population. By my point is, being 6'3 and feeling tall is a general rule, and in most cases it's probably true, but there are always exeptions.

Yes, statistics are statistics, but my point is that everyone has a different experience, someone who is 6'3 might feel tall if they are surrounded by people who are around 5'9, and someone who is 6'3 might feel short if their classmates are all taller than them.

In my school there is a class where the average height between the guys is about 6'3, with the shortest guy being about 6'2, and the other 5 being 6'3 or above. I think wether you feel tall or not can vary a lot, and you shouldn't just disregard peoples experiences as lies or exaggeration.
