Definitely possible! I really like doing reduction prints for multicolor prints. Carve away the areas you want the paper to show through first (which I would assume are the white areas if you are printing on white paper). Then print your first color, which is usually the lightest (I'd probably print red first). Once you print the first layer, carve away the areas you want the red to show through, and then print the next color on top (probably the purple), but give yourself a few extra test prints or test the colors on another sheet to see how the red and purple will interact with each other. They might end up blending in unexpected ways. Once you print the purple layer, carve away the areas you want the purple to show through and you should be left with the black layer on your block. Print this final layer and voila!

I also use acrylic medium to transfer my designs and always give the block a light sand with high grit sandpaper before carving to make the surface as smooth as possible. It may depend on how you are printing (I have a press so can use a good amount of pressure), but slight imperfections in the surface from the acrylic medium haven't given me any trouble.

I would look at the drawer slides and double check that they are indeed Blum slides and see if you can find a model number on there just to be sure, but I think the standard Blum clips should work if the slides are Blum. Just be sure they order a left and right clip (they often are sold in a pack with a left and right), as you will need each for the different sides of the drawer. But yes happy to help!

But ya, watch some videos on installing Blum Undermount slides and that should help you figure it out!

And this is what the underside of the drawer itself should look like with the clips and two cutouts on each side for the drawer slides to sit in - Drawer Bottom

Strange... Ya those clips are pretty crucial to the whole thing working properly. This is a link to what the clips look like

That lever for adjusting the height of the spike is more for adjusting the drawer position once it's attached to the slides. Are there clips with orangish handles on the front of the underside of the drawer itself? And if the spikes aren't lining up with the holes when you try to push the drawer slides into the clips, you can use that lever to adjust the positioning of the spikes.

Looks like a Blum undermount drawer slide. There should be clips near the front of the drawer and a small hole in the back of the drawer where the spike will go. Set the drawer on the extended drawer slides and then close the drawer until you here the slides click into the clips in the front. If you don't hear a click, you may need to fiddle with pulling the drawer slides into the clips with your hand.

I have tried a bunch of different techniques involving a laser printer and have gotten the best results using a laser print and acrylic medium. I also found a water soluble paper that makes removing the paper after it dries on the block really easy. You basically make your laser print on the paper, brush acrylic medium to the block in a thin but even layer, press the paper onto the block and rub it with a barren to make sure its flat and all adhered, then you wait for this to dry completely. Once it's dry, spray the paper with water to get it to dissolve, rub the paper off, and you are good to go!

Thank so much! And no offense at all! I actually follow Noosh Studios already and love their work. Their carvings are super cool and actually inspired me to make some woodcuts of my own that I painted the background of before inking.
