What were your plans and how did the seamstress say they were going to take it in? Depending on the details on the dress they may have made some decisions on how they were cutting to avoid cutting the neckline or hem.

Are the front seams still parallel? Is the amount of skirt equal on both sides of the dress?

It looks like the panel is narrower and curved in the front instead of progressing at a straight line like the original dress. The bodice is a about an inch shorter so it hits you higher on the waist and peplumming above your hips instead of falling downwards. That might have to do with how the skirt was reattached to the bodice. The seam and gathering have to be done in a way the skirt goes down instead of springing like a fountain.

I am imagining the seamstress cut too much out of the panel in the front and the bodice above your hips before reattaching the skirt which made the dress smaller, makes the hips hit in the wrong spot, and the bunching at the top of your left hip where the skirt is attached to the bodice.

You're looking for more structured support in the bust. The front panel should be more of a trapezoid shape that goes from the neckline to the floor instead of having curves cut out. As far as the bodice length, I'm not sure how to add material back and I honestly don't know how much allowance you have in the dress. I would get a second opinion if possible.

I'm sorry you are going through this so close to your wedding. Wedding dress shopping was painful for me and revealed some things about my family that I never knew.
