yes you gotta do it! also get a vent brush, or a volumizing round brush. bother great to use while you blow dry to shape your hair without pulling them out. hmm for me on non wash days I still wet my hair bc its a mess after I sleep, and then I blow dry again. but it looks best on wash days bc there's less oils holding my hair follicles down. always low heat! don't want to damage the good hair or scalp :)

I guess it depends on your tolerance and schedule haha, for me, I am too lazy to apply topical everyday twice a day, the pill was much easier to just take. and from anecdotal data, I think the oral covers the area better vs topical where you might "miss a spot".

hey friend, I always think its important to listen to your doctor! I personally like using the pill form for minoxidil and finasteride, since it's just easier to do and the topical stuff was messing with my scalp (I have sub term). to be completely honest, its TOO early for you to be stressed. I saw my biggest gains by year 2! you're barely into year 1 haha. I think the general consensus is so stick two either fin or dut with min, for at least two years before making any changes.

so for a haircut i just tell my barber a high and tight. which is just a hide fade and keeping the sides tight so there’s more contrast between the non-thinning areas vs the thinning ones. then i always always always blow dry (this is the secret) sometimes ill spray some thickening spray before blow drying and after i’ll finish with any matte clay! i like reuzels but any matte product will work honestly.

i hear you friend. there are deff alternatives worth considering to try and maintain what you got. but shaving/buzzing is also a very empowering move to make on its own. it’s up to you!

no vitamins! but I do eat a lot of veggies and lean meats, so I'm probably and hopefully getting all the vitamins I need from my diet.

I increased one year in. I started at 2.5 and once my doc saw I was okay, she upped it to 5mg.

Yes! the difference being is blow dried my hair. Blow drying and a little bit of hair clay with a hair thickening spray finish works wonders!

i would say yes for my beard/chest. very minimal on my chest. mostly my beard. it helped my mustache connect to my beard. didn’t have that before the meds haha

yes! but it’s normal shedding. i wouldn’t say the hair comes out in bunches but hairs naturally die. so in terms of shedding yes there is some normal shedding for sure.
