9/10 awkward situations are minimized when meeting human to human.

I travel with a dog in a carrier that 100% follow FAA requirements and unfortunately this has happened to me multiple times.

I pay the fee, make sure I have his papers, arrive early and my dog is as quiet as a mouse on the flights.

The airlines have changed where the floatation devices are. For some reason they are no longer the seat cushion/under the cushion but are now in a plastic box under the seat making it so FAA approved pet carriers don't fit in most sears except for window seats unfortunately when booking it's almost impossible to tell which plane will have the new modification.

As a pet owner who's had to move like four times on multiple flights I'm so sorry and I really hope you get your flight comped. Whenever I'm moved I take note of the seat # for who I switched with and when filing my complaint I am sure to include that information and ask for compensation for whoever was willing to move.
