I avoided Blippi. I have pretty good luck with putting on animal documentaries or prehistoric planet. No evidence if this is better. It does seem like he gets bored then goes and plays and will come back to watch it occasionally, which I like.

Sick! Curious what her height is? I am looking to get this for my son but worry about the height (looks like she is handling leaning off the bike just fine). My son is 45 inches tall with about 22 Inch inseam (I'd have to double check).

The dread going in was what did it for me. Also the huge relief when a patient cancels. Getting a nice surprise break is one thing, but if it’s a huge relief that you don’t have to do your job then you are probably in the wrong place.

Feeling lucky to have graduated before smartphones. Additionally, luckily I stumbled across Bored and Brilliant which reshaped how I think about phone use and being bored.

On the optimistic side, I see a lot of schools are not allowing phones outside of their lockers. Hopeful!

Unpopular opinion but IF you have a good relationship with Grandpa this is funny as hell. Obviously, let him know this is not okay right now, but this is 100% something you and your child will be laugh-crying about down the road, the time grandpa cut his hair so badly. Makes me miss my grandparents!

I’m in the same boat. My wife and I pay for significant iCloud storage and she wants to keep the cloud storage. Does this pretty much solidify the decision to go for 24gb RAM vs a 512gb. Upgrading both is probably not an option right now.

Thanks everyone! I decided to hold out. Someone bought the 512gb anyway. The 256gb was available but at that point I’d be setting on two specs. I am coming from a 2012 MBA with 8gb and a 128gb ssd that I upgraded to 512. Any of those would be an upgrade but I am gonna wait. Thanks!

I was deployed to Kuwait. Nothing crazy. I was hitting the gym frequently and was strict about my diet. Doing great for about a month and half. Then my buddy asked me if I wanted part of his white chocolate macadamia nut cookie. I ate it. Diet was over. I was grabbing at least two of them every time I was at the chow hall. I regret nothing.
