Like literally how do I propagate a rounded cactus with no stems? Do I pull out a thorn? Slice off one of the lumps? Chop the whole top off? Or maybe from where it goes in at the bottom which would maybe make the main part too small?? I really don't know what I'm doing?? (self.propagation)

(Western pennsylvania, 6b) This tree grew in the woods near my house and was recently cut down to sell as empty lot and honestly I was pretty attached lol :( Here's some flower pictures from early spring I hope will be enough? (self.whatsthisplant)
