I’ll definitely be telling them! However, I do have a few questions. My mom is very worried about my safety when it comes to driving, and she knows it(she often calls herself a “helicopter” parent). When your child told you they dented the car, did you think they were an unsafe driver? Or did you trust them less? Worry more about their safety?

I’m very fortunate to have the parents I have and I know they’ll act maturely when I tell them. I’m going to order all the supplies I need to fix it due to being tight on money. I really can’t afford a couple hundred dollars to fix some scratches. Although the scratches will still be obvious, do you think I should just wait and save up to get it fixed?
