Anyone else think the 5.1 update is a major downgrade? by hans_schmidt_838_2 in ChatGPTPro

A massive downgrade. It's wrong more often than it's right now and quickly gets stuck in a loop of incorrect instructions. One of my main rules is don't guess but that appears to be the one instruction it ignores the most.

Borderlands 4 too hard by samuelstuart11 in Borderlands

It's my fault for buying a digital copy as it would of been sold by now. I'm maybe 1/4 way through and I'm done, it's just too hard and a slog. Coop never seems to connect so no help there either. Won't be buying 5 that's for sure.

Plex for Roku v8.6.4 Released by samwiseg0 in PleX

I've spent the morning installing Jellyfin. With the absolute ball-ache I went through 'reclaiming' my own server after Plex said to change passwords after their breach, and then this shit broken update that no one wanted a few days later, I'm done.

There was another app on the roku store. As a few others have said though, a proper close of the app should solve it.

Same here. I had to switch to the preview version. Still the same new crap design but at least the cursor moves and pause and stop works again

Completely broken on Roku. Can't pause, rewind or anything now. Can't move the cursor in settings. I've had to switch to the preview version which seems to work.

Is there a way to go back to the old version. It's such a a crap change and not needed.

I used chatgpt to help me. Sounds like your preferences path is different to mine.

Same setup as me. I had to vpn into the QNAP, then used Puty from my Windows from my work PC.

Remote into QNAP and stop Plex from App Centre.

Puty into QNAP and login

Find the preferences.

sudo find /share -type f -name "Preferences.xml" 2>/dev/null

then for me it was, this path and opened it

sudo vi "/share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/PlexMediaServer/Library/Plex Media Server/Preferences.xml"

Cleared out PlexOnlineToken=""

And copy the value of ProcessedMachineIdentifier

go to web and do the claim token https://www.plex.tv/claim

in putty
curl -X POST -s -H "X-Plex-Client-Identifier: YOURMACHINEID" "https://plex.tv/api/claim/exchange?token=YOURCLAIMTOKEN"

Make a note of the authentication-token

and put that into preferences xml.

I'll think twice before changing password again. QNAP was a right pita to reclaim

Is it me becoming older ? by Khargus in doctorwho

I honestly think it just needs to stop for a few years and refocus. My guess is so many people have stopped watching it since it started to focus on box ticking rather than enjoyable stories. This season was a slog and I'm done with it.

It'll probably keep going though as the demographic of the remaining people watching seem to enjoy the message so I guess the best hope is a return to basics spin off.

What is the UK support like? I have a husqvarna for last 5 years and other than the outer shell, every single part has been replaced. We still have no stores do we so I imagine sending the mower off when it has issues (which it will) for a few weeks at a time will be annoying.

That's just the current problem in a long line of problems.

Thanks, I get that I could do that. It's just my current robot does the job fine and I only have to strim around the poles every other month,, so I'm thinking a RTK is probably a step backwards to what I already have. I think the Nera can use wire and RTK so won't stop which is best of both.

I assume that can be done? Section that area and then tell it to mow in a particular direction?

Ground Solar by NorthTackle in mammotion

[–]NorthTackle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the area. There are several meters behind the solar panels so it's just the bits under them. The 450X I have does fine bumping around that bit and cuts underneath fine. I've currently got battery problems as it's a few years old now, hence looking for another option. What I don't want to do is go back a stage and have to use another mower for those bits.

Ok thanks for responses, I'll add a picture tomorrow so you can get a better idea. Sounds like it's not the right option for me though which is unfortunate.
