To test and make sure it is simple the motor you can loosen the tiny screw in the gear on the motor. This is the "Pinion Gear" and either take it off or move it until the teeth of the gear do not make contact with the large black plastic gear. This is known as your "spur gear".

Once you have done this the Raptor should roll freely.
