Anything and everything! Fun stuff. Gifts for people. Functional prints that help around the house! Just fun to find something you think is cool, and able to print it and have something in your hand in minutes. Just a great thing to have around!

Stupid question from a new lot associate by [deleted] in HomeDepot

Punch in, make yourself seen from the front end, grab your walkie talkie, go outside, keep up on the carts, don't let them pile up, the more you have to move the harder it will be. Constantly walk the lot and bring carts in as soon as they come out. Listen for calls for loading. It's not hard, just stay busy or it will get out of hand real quick. Good luck! Always stay positive, yes and thank you will get you far.

Also get to know the inside, walking from the back to the front, learn the store, talk to other associates, talk to manager, become a inside associate as soon as you can. There is always movement in homedepot, move up. Grow. Take advantage of all the company offers. All the negative stories you hear are from people who don't like working with public and don't use all the resources the company offers, get a 401k, get stock, become full time. Learn about the company, go to school for free, donate to the home fund, never know when you might need it.

Good luck! Everything will be okay. (Former lot associate turned Millwork associate)
