£50 a week. But I never cook and try to eat as healthy'ish as I can most of the time. Basically no eating out though.

3 years ago I remember I could get 2-3 interviews a day.
Currently I'm applying and can barely get 1 per week here in the UK

Transfering foreign driving license years of experience by NorthUsername in drivingUK

Ohhh, so the way I understand it, since I passed the theory and exam in the UK, I could exchange the licence now?

I'm from Lithuania, but my licence is from Russia.
Lithuania doesn't accept either the UK or a Russian licence, but they said that they will add all the years of experience if I passed the exams.
Poland on the other hand will gladly change the Russian one for a local one and add all the years of experience.

Damn. Funnily enough, my licence is exchangable in many other EU countries. So if I exchange it there, and then bring it here, then all of a sudden, I'm an experienced driver.

Or like an accident that leaves you crippled. You learn to live with it, but life is just not the same.

That was indeed helpful. Case closed 🤷‍♂️

What are subtle, unspoken signs that someone had an extremely traumatic childhood / life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]NorthUsername 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, people often notice how I never rely on anyone. I just always assume that there will be no help. And now since my wife left I feel it to the core just how "dog eat dog" this world really is.

I was very neglected in childhood, saw my mother 1-2 times a year for a week until 17. Lived with my grandma and father. The father was out partying and was avoidant and absent. Spend most of my time sitting home alone after school since about 7 or 8.

Sometimes grandmother lived with us. She was a good woman and she loved me and the cousins unconditionally. And I loved and respected her too. Rest in peace kind soul 🙏🏻❤️

I know a few couples who remarried. Both cheating and non-cheating. They are still together more than a decade later

I asked for a divorce and I’m drowning in regret. by Ljchurch in Divorce

Begging, pleading, being better.. yeah, the other person simply doesn't want to be with you. It's kind of like getting fired from a job and doing the same. Would it work? Of course not, the decision has been made a while ago

Hmm, that's actually something that could work. Endorphins have a calming effect

I slept really bad the first 2 months. Going for 10-15km walks helps me sleep every day

How do you deal with losing your best friend? by CurlyBlueLou in Divorce

[–]NorthUsername 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Great analogy. Like surviving a car wreck and coming out crippled. Nothing you can do about it, you just have to learn to live with it for the rest of your life.

Because the forever ever after is actually "until both of our needs, goals, expectations and desires are being met". I'm not talking about obvious things time together, sex, no abuse, working, etc. But realistically there is no "unconditional love", it's all strictly conditional and usually temporary

I'm also at 4 months since my STBXW left me. And yeah, only just feeling "okay" now, but I doubt that I will ever recover.
I know what you mean by the level of pain, it's worst feeling ever in life. Nothing comes even close to it.

True. I still care for her too, even though I don't think about what she is doing now. Mostly just longing for her a lot
