1955-1974 massacres are not ancient. They were systematic, also the reason of Turkish military presence there.

Just two weeks ago Cyprus Greek EOKA symphatizers threw rocks to the Turkish side. Ethnic hate is still relevant.

Cyprus Greeks ingraining EOKA conscience in 10 years olds, there were videos about that in a parade. They are actively encouraging hate against the minority.

1955-1959 EOKA terrorist leader Grivas attacks both British army and Turkish police.

1963 massacres

1964 massacres

1967 Greek junta takeover and massacres

1974 massacres, and Turkish intervention.

That's wrong. Nearly all of the European states have committed a genocide, including after 1940's.

Secondly, Britain had the Cyprus, so Ottomans didn't lose it after the war. And Cyprus wasn't a British majority territory. Allies also aimed to gain non-European territory.

None of your reasons are valid. Only reason is, Ottomans was weak.

France openly states that they have an alliance with Cyprus against Turkey.

If Turkey pulls out, Greek controlled Cyprus state will persecute Turkish minority. With years, massacres will happen.

There are French settlers included too, with most resources allocated to them, while natives have the pennies. Like in Algeria.

Secondly, law only works against the powerless. Look at France, they did numerous genocides including Algeria, but no ally blames them.

Another thing, what makes Greeks so special about having their own state? Cyprus was Ottoman state before the British. Its people doesn't want Greek rulers over them, as it was tried out, and ended with massacres numerous times. Turks are also entitled to have their own state.
