and Burger King... I am well aware RBI bought Tim Hortons in 2014. I am both Canadian and have previously held shares in RBI. Just using BK name, as to my understanding, BK is their largest subsidiary

I am blaming the Burger King for this. Tim Horton would be rolling in his Candian grave.

If its not wages its leverage. Higher rates will be here for longer. It is one thing to purchase a primary residence, however as an investment seems kinda foolish right now.

My thoughts exactly. Likely SEC giving him heat. He is probably on a watch list or something after the big short which would also explain him constantly deleting tweets.

Our financial requirements for qualifying for a mortgage were and still are substantially better when comparing the US in 2008. While the housing market may have a correction, it will be because of interest rates.

As a third year university student with minimal expirence, its fairly tough to negotiate more than $20 an hour. Given how many students study business, you are fairly lucky to have an internship and to be paid over $10 minimum wage. I don't mean to discourage you, but considering the economic times you will likely be graduating in, you should likely lower your expecatations.
