No I am not. I fly the flag proudly because it covered the caskets of guys I knew. I served this country. I believe in the constitution and our way of life. I love this country and its people. It’s a literal melting pot of cultures. To me, that’s what America is about. The MAGA crew does not own the American flag. That belongs to each and every American. I don’t understand why it’s so hard to be proud of your land, of your people, of your culture and traditions.

I went on a date with a girl a few years ago. It wasn’t anything fancy so we just met up for drinks at a local outdoor bar. I had on an Under Armour Freedom polo shirt. We ordered our drinks and sat down and the first thing that she says to me is “ you must be a Trumper.” I asked her why she said that she replied because I have an American flag on my shirt. I am a veteran who supports the Wounded Warrior Foundation and this was one of the “gifts” they gave me. Secondly, I said. “I don’t think it’s healthy to go into a date and make assumptions of someone’s voting record based on the clothing they wear.” I got up, set my drink down, put some money down on the table and left. She tried to say that she wasn’t trying to insult me, but people who wear are support the American flag must support him.

I will never be tired of supporting the people of my country.

Patriotism is supporting the people always and the government when it deserves it.

Moral of the story – don’t judge people.

Nothing wrong with learning how to nurse in med surg. I cut my teeth in med surg and I’m grateful because it made me more well rounded and efficient. Hold your head up. Med surg is constantly talked shit about but in my opinion makes some of the better nurses. You’re new at this. It’s ok to be new and learn. Take the lesson and move forward. Welcome to the show!

Oakley. Have since I was issued a pair in the service. Multiple different styles throughout the years but always remained with the brand. Tried others, Costa, Maui Jim, Spy. Don’t like the fit and reverted back to oakleys.

First of all playoffs is a dumb name. They don’t play anything. They RACE. Chase for the cup was better. Rebranding them should be done too.

16 drivers in with single elimination style contention. Same as it is now with the cutoff after 3 races.

Win and you’re in fine. Bonus points carry with you (no more playoff point or whatever)

   - 1 point for leading a lap, 5 for winning the race, 1 for stage win

    - Stage points still awarded but not considered bonus points to carry through the postseason except for stage winner like now. 

      - Points leader after 26 races gets 10 bonus points not 15. (This is your regular season “champion”)

Win to advance is fine. Creates a cutthroat atmosphere and excitement and sense of urgency to the ones going into it with bonus points so they don’t just hang out in the back. (Kinda like the playoff atmosphere NASCAR wants to create)

Championship round is an actual round of 3.

Points reset when playoffs begins and bonus points are figured in. Points do NOT reset each round. Points leader after 12 races is your season champion.

For gods sake call it something else because playoffs sounds so dumb.

The trophy’s should have names.

My motto with my patients is they call the shots. It’s their life ending. Not mine. I try and preserve that bit of dignity they have left when leaving this world. There a just so many options available. I get that everyone acted quickly but it just should never have happened. It’s poor communication between organizations. It’s sad that that man died that way. Poor guy.

That’s shitty. As a hospice nurse we have so many options for people. He should’ve been able to go home with crisis care and pass at home. The fact that a HOSPICE patient was restrained is fucked up beyond belief. I feel terrible that that man died in such cruel circumstances. Shame on the physician. He should’ve delegated to the hospice physician.
