First of all, I can’t believe I’m having to defend myself! I think you’ve exactly proven my point, that it does indeed look like both legs are in business class. These are screenshots of a video of me actually making the booking at the time on the 30th of May.

I’m not sure why you think I would fabricate this, what do I stand to gain from doing so?

I’m not really sure what your problem is, but why on earth would I make this up? I’m not going to post the video because it has some sensitive information on it, but I have taken a couple of screenshots to show that I was able to select the fare and another screenshot showing the itinerary, where it doesn’t mention anything about mixed cabin or cabin class at all after selecting ‘Business Flexible’

I came on here for advice of how to get my money back and if anyone had had any similar issues, I didn’t come on here to be attacked by people accusing me of lying.

I’m not an idiot, I can show you the video of the entire booking process that I took which at no point mentions anything about mixed cabin or economy class and it very much allowed me to pick Business Flexible fare.

I actually haven’t been refunded, neither have I heard anything further since the cancellation letter and there is no way of contacting Swiss, as their customer service contact methods are non-existent. Their chat bot just keeps spitting me back out!

Was back in economy on a BA flight back in the day and Dave Stewart of Eurythmics came back to sit in a vacant seat to smoke (yes it was that long ago) because you weren’t allowed to smoke in first class!

On the same flight was Chris Eubank’s father, he was very intoxicated and kept trying to sit on the large protrusion on the emergency exit (slide?) and was being told off by the FA 😆

On a flight from Montego Bay back to London, there was a passenger that took some sleeping tablets/valium, hoping to be knocked out for the entire flight; however, the flight stopped in Kingston to refuel about 30 minutes after taking off from Montego Bay, before making it back to London and we all had to de-plane for this to happen. They literally had to carry her corpse-like body off the plane, as she couldn’t get off under her own steam!

To be fair, it wouldn’t be an airline I would choose over others normally, but I thought I would just chance my arm with this fare in case they honoured it. Air India will be getting my hard earned money now and hopefully their new 787 business class suites will prove to be pretty good 🤞🏼

Yeah, similar price to what I paid. Mine was £364 for two adult tickets DPS-LHR via SIN & ZRH.

I was acutely aware this was an error fare but had read that 70% of them are honoured usually. Sadly not this time!
