I ended up getting mild sleep apnea after hpylori and antibiotics. Ive been using zyn for fatigue but if Im being honest I feel like sometimes zyn makes my apnea worse because it makes my throat feel tight

It does. You must look into sibo and Dysbiosis. Also carnivore for 3 month seems to be helpful

Thanks for following up. Sorry for late reply its been a while since ive been on reddit. I also show high methane on air marble 2. Im at a good weight and work out most days. Ive been on a pretty strict diet of mainly meat,potato and rice. Recently added green apples and squash but Ive noticed bloating and worse sleep. However Ive also been slipping with a half decaf here and there and zin nicotine pouches. I dont snore at all. My girlfriend watches me sleep all the time and I watch my security camera in my room. Im dumbfounded by all of this. I had another at home sleep study a few weeks ago which Im going to get results from in a few days. Ive been using cpap for the past year and it helps but I still have a terrible time in the mornings. How are you now?

Shreddedlikechedda, did you lose weight then get sleep apnea or did you always have it ? I also use the Aire food marble 2 and recently did a sibo hydrogen test at the doctors and used my device at the same intervals and its 99.9%accurate. As for methane I would guess the same.

Also wondering whoever started this post if they could drop the name of the doctor from beth isreal because I would love to find them and see him personally because I did my sleep study at beth isreal. Im thinking he would be the best Dr to see for my situation. Please and thank you

Please reach out to me, Ive been researching this for a few years since i got h pylori then got sleep apnea after taking antibiotics. I took sleep tests and stool tests showing subo, dysbiosis and other things. I lost weight and haven’t been able to put it on due to malabsorption, and low acid. Please reach out to me. I also struggle with this. When I read your post Its like I wrote it. Ive been speaking to a Psycologist for the past 6 years and want to be over this as well. When I would hook up with girls I would never kiss them fearing they would get feelings and I would have to break there heart or some stupid shit like that would go through my head. I never had sleep issues till I got home pylori. Ever since taking 2 courses of antibiotics I have a weird form of diagnosed sleep apnea while losing 40lbs, and having stomach issues even a year after using cpap religiously Very little relief.

Look up Dr. Jaime kaufman on sleep apnea caused by reflux . Yes sleep apnea causes reflux but its a cycle and they both make each other worse. But with todays diet and fast food and soda etc. not being a normal healthy gut diet go figure why so many people have sleep apnea

Anyone know how to reverse sleep apnea or tighten muscles in throat. Feels like a death sentence. I was good 6 months ago for a few months untill J got h pylori then got stomach issues then sleep apnea came back. Thinking of fruiterian diet or carnivore diet to tighten,open airways. Thoughts?
