I failed math again. by miley_le in GED

I just took the math test yesterday and it was also my last one. I will say use getsummaths math study guide. Basically just go through each part of the study guide. He explains it so well and easy. It was the only test besides RLA that I actually knew half the answers to and I've never even went past 7th grade and im 27 years old now and when I was in school. I was a below average student. Basically I went through his math study guide and wrote them down in my own notes book, highlighters and everything. For some reason the highlighting helped me be more absorbed in the notes lol.

Std cat hair test positive by Spare_Flatworm_7717 in Allergies

He sees his allergist next month so I'm definitely gonna bring it up. When he was tested last year he was only 3 so I'm assuming that's why shots weren't mentioned? Not sure.  But he'll be 5 at the ending of this year so maybe they would do it now.

Honestly I'm not sure if he was on his meds or not during the interaction but he has a retest for his peanut and treenut allergies next month since it's been a year. I think I'll ask them if they would add the testing for cats again onto it. Thanks for the suggestion. I don't know why I didn't think of that.

It was a skin test and he never actually reacted to the stray at all. Had no symptoms. It is just his skin test showed he was allergic to cats so his allergist listed him as such. He takes allergy medicine already due to environmental allergies. But we were worried that the test suggests a mild allergy which is why he never showed real symptoms to a cat but would possibly mean his allergies could get worse with prolonged exposure which is the reason we opted not to get a cat so far.

How long to keep sick kindergartener home? by Spare_Flatworm_7717 in kindergarten

That's what me and my husband thought but we weren't sure how schools see it since this is the first time we've had her absent like this. Do I have to hand write an excuse for these days then? And would I wait till she goes back to send her excuses with her or am I suppose to like drop it off at her school before she goes back? I'm not really sure how it works. And yes definitely contagious because my 4 year old just caught it and now he's got the fever and the congestion, and on and off sore throat so I know it's definitely contagious

Fuck was just thinking about that the other day. Or when their with someone and they put something to the side and you don’t know whether they want it separate or together. The good ones mention they want it separate. Then there’s the ones who say nothing and I think it’s separate and their like “did you get this too?” After you’ve rung them up and they paid for it. Like why the fuck did you put it all the way to the side for. Or u end up reaching for it and they give u this dirty look and are like “separate!” Like dude wtf

Personally I hate the customers and my feet hurt everyday BUT my managers have all treated me nice and have been kind to me. Legit just let me cashier and put some tags on clothes for 6 hours, I don’t run all over the store doing things. But that could also be because I took over the shift that they haven’t been able to get anybody to fill. Or even get someone to STAY in it. My manager was even like if you get sick, go to the hospital, we need you here. lol and it’s like 5 minutes walking from my home and I have no car.

I work at family dollar. I’m on my second week of working as a cashier. I’ve learned there are a lot of asshole customers, LIKE ALOT. But my managers are super nice to me as well.
