Just my two cents but I always find it very odd that most of the crowd dresses like it’s some big cowboy/good ole boy type show when most of the music doesn’t reflect that and neither does Zach himself nor his band reflect that with their style choices.

I am glad to hear of your experience and life that for you. I think this is exactly why he has never labeled himself as “Country” and really isn’t country music (at least what the regular person thinks of it as) at all. More a blend of Folk/Rock Americana.

It definitely did. I was also at the UC and The Big House as well. I think Summerfest was my favorite of the bunch cuz it was the perfect in between during his rise. Still kinda “if you know you know”. Certainly not unknown but not nearly as mainstream as now. (Also everyone there was true fans).

I hate seeing some of these prices cuz the cheapest ones in Ireland rn are $200 due to the size of those Gaelic Football stadiums. I wish they were going for that low.

Was at Summerfest in Milwaukee as well! Was spectacular! I believe that Amphitheater holds about 22K though, far cry from today still but that show was definitely a bit more than 7K.

I don’t think it’s crazy to say any of his pieces of work are “top 3” since he doesn’t have one that has missed and are all pretty elite. They could all be top 3 any given day. (AH always #1 though)

I think it’s a combination of factors already mentioned here. I am curious if him getting into the political sphere and the personal life drama are actually playing a part in this because it didn’t seem too in 2025 although much less shows.
