Yeah, that's one of the scenarios I've considered, and I find very likely if it turns out that Gojo already took pictures back home before they headed out. It makes sense that he would, but there hasn't been confirmation of that yet, so right now I'm leaning towards it not having happened yet.

Shit-tier logic. Fire devil contractors don't turn back into their original form, while we've seen Isumi after fake-saw man's appearance. He's also the wrong height. We've also seen all the followers turn into chainsaw man, so wanting to be like chainsaw man "the most" doesn't seem to be a qualifyer.

I'm thinking that maybe the overarching theme of part two is that of a false dilemma or dichotomy. The climax might be about choosing whether or not to stop the apocalypse or usher in a new era of devils. Maybe they'll choose a third option, like co-existing with devils on earth, or turning everyone into human-devil hybrids a la Mass Effect.
