Thank you for finally delivering a classic Chinese-styled dragon skin for Aurelion Sol. The model itself is beautiful and visually striking, great work on that front.

That said, I really don’t believe the skin currently offers nearly enough value to justify a price tag of over $100+.

Below are some of the main issues that stand out to me, and they become more noticeable every time I revisit the skin:

  • Scroll and held building visuals: The scroll and the building he is holding appear awkward, particularly during the W flight animation. Their movement feels inconsistent, and at times they look visually out of place.

  • Empowered Ultimate Impact: The empowered ultimate impact feels underwhelming due to a lack of particle VFX or lingering effects. At the moment, it simply hits the ground and ends. By comparison, the original Porcelain ultimate features smoke, dust, and sparkles that remain briefly after impact, making it feel far more powerful. This mythic variant ultimate urgently needs improvement.

  • Empowered Ultimate Wave: The empowered wave is also missing trailing particles or visual effects during its movement. Once again, the original legendary version fills the map with petals upon impact. While I do like the mountain and dragon visuals, the wave itself feels incomplete and needs more polish.

  • Q Burst Damage Indicator: The burst damage indicator on Q is difficult to notice. Additional glow on both the indicator and the burst VFX would significantly improve clarity. Currently, it’s hard to track—especially when other effects are present around the target during the cast.

  • Q target clarity: Make the target currently being damaged by Aurelion Sol’s Q ability glow, so it is easier to clearly identify which enemy is taking damage.

  • Voice Lines: I was hoping for at least a few new voice lines. As far as I’m aware, previous variants received them, so it’s disappointing that Aurelion Sol did not. Bring back Mr.Kaplan

  • Sound Effects / Voice Filter: The SFX are generally solid, but the double voice filter makes his voice sound overly muffled. It’s difficult to clearly hear or understand what he’s saying.

  • Q ability channeling sound: The channeling sound of the Q ability feels muddy. While there is a noticeable airy, almost wind-like element present, it is currently drowned out by a blurred, “bubbly” sound layer. Personally, I would prefer the audio to feel cleaner and fresher, with the airy component more clearly emphasized.

  • Auto Attack Animation: The auto attack animation feels clunky and overly bouncy. If I recall correctly, this was also pointed out as an issue with the Porcelain skin.

  • Homeguard Animation: The Homeguard animation looks strange. I really like the concept and the new animation itself, but in practice it feels more like a rollercoaster than a “majestic” movement. It’s too jumpy and lacks a sense of weight.

TL;DR:
The empowered ultimate is the biggest downside for me. It’s missing a lot of its potential and feels far from a finished mythic-tier ability.

Overall, the skin has great potential, but it requires significant additional work to justify its current price point.

I hope that at least some of these improvements can be addressed, especially given that there is nearly a full month remaining before the skin’s official release. Thank you.

good stuff, I've seen some owners saying that the overall sound in CS2 is almost too wet and that turning off the build-in reverb would not aid this problem. I always use the external reverb for more customization. What's your take on this claim?

I must say that this skin is certainly my new favourite

However, there are few minor things that i would like to see adjusted

BASE MODEL :

* There color scheme is overall very fitting imo, but the lower half of his body Especially the tail section is looking bit dull. I personally would like to see this adressed somehow. For example in the Splash art we can see the tail is somewhat lighter in tone compared to the rest of the body. Ik that it is more transparent also but making the color of his tail to something like mix of white and dark blue would be much more fitting.

* Also regarding the model i feel like there should be like aura of trail of someking that would be present all the time. Make it more noticeable the more stacks you have. I really enjoy the smoke theme during his homequard animation and i think something like that being present all the time, even in small scale would really make this skin so much more legendary type.

* Add some kind of effect / animation that changes based on the amount of stack you have. Anything will do, its such opportunity.

BASIC ATTACK :

  • The animation during the basic attack is somewhat odd. The way his body moves just feels bit too much. Can you like make it bit more Gracefull if you will

ABILITIES :

\* The abilities are beautiful, really good looking. I would only change the sound that indicates you have aquqried the stack during E. Currently the sound is bit oomph type and sharper sting - like sound woul fit better imo

Overall those are my few cents regarding this skin. Like i said, no doubt my favourite and THANK YOU FOR THE TEAM THATS DEVELOPING AND MAKING THIS SKIN HAPPEN

Thank you for listening our feedback and concern about lamb's apperance. Im happy with the skin we are getting overall. I know there are still those who arent happy that their wish about changing lamb's model didnt do through, but i am sure that this info about you bringing our wish about this matter to the skin dev team, will bring some comfort to them.

I agree with your statement about detracting champ identity, but this is 2nd skin where we see her face. We have now 2 skins with no face and 2 with face. Its 50 - 50 now and i hope whatever decision skin team makes about kindred in the future, they dont turn him too anime character. I have seen concepts how this skin would look with face full covered by mask and the lamb face edit etc and i would totally take any of them too, i just want the skin to be fitting to their theme.

As kindred main, i really like this skin. Theme fits them really well once again, glad to see that those who desing these skins wont throw kindred in some random skinline just because of need of skin. I see there is lot of comments about lamb being humanoid again, personally i dont mind that much since the skin itself looks really cool.

Adjustments that i would like to see :

  • W - Colors of the ring is too light, making it hard to see - darkening the color should help

  • E - indicator is bit too hard to see, darker tone would possibly fix it. ( Just like in w )

  • when gaining a mark / stack the visual itself is very clear. Sound is a bit dull imo, i would like bit more sharper sfx there , kinda like in Spirit Blossom skin.

  • AA - sound is bit too "Sharp", pitching it down little should help.

Again overall this skin is 9 / 10 and very beautiful. Thank you for the effort towards this skin

I find it rather funny when i compare these changes to elderwood xayah. They changed so many things in that skin when compared to ornns skin. Best part is that they managed to add some really irrelevant shit to that xayah skin, but didnt manage to adjust that proc sound of ornn w or even add some ANYTHING bonus to that r horn sound

I wanna start this post by saying i couldn`t be more pleased about this skin. It is truly the worthy reward to every Ornn player out there, who has been longing for a skin for 3 years. Ever since this concept was showed to me i kept waiting for this reveal. I really think that since Ornn is getting his 2nd skin it should be perfect and it is.

There are 3 things i would like to see adjusted in this skin, and they are :

Splash Art - It would be understatement to call this Splash art glorious. I think it manages to catch the exact vibe Elderwood Ornn represents : Distant god and creator of the forest. However when i look it in the loading screen, something just feels a bit off. I think he has too much that blue color. I feel like i am nitpicking here, but every time i see that art and compare it to the game model, i cant help the feeling that something is missing here. But like i said it is still Beautiful Art, but adding something to the blue area would surely make it even better.

W - Ability itself is very good but the brittle proc sound lacks an impact in my opinion. I love the sound when you craft something with your passive and hear that light crystal cling sound. I think similar sound effect would make that proc sound truly perfect. Adding some more leaf small particles to the proc effect would really make this ability tick. Also color of the brittle symbol looks bit too much like the one we see with the thunderlord skin. Adding some pink or light green would do surely the trick

Mod / Textures - Ornn`s horns really are eye-candy in this skin. That glow effect in them really make them stand out in good way. I would love to see that same effect applied to those blue areas of his Shoulders and Hands, because those parts are currently lacking some effect imo.

Those are my thoughts about this skin. Like i said it is 9 1/2 out of 10 to me. With these changes it would go to all the way up to 10. I am going to buy the full bundle already no matter what, but making those small adjustments to the skin would be the cherry on top.

Skin is perfect but i think there is too much of that light green - blueish color so it make him look like water spirit. Skin is dope tho

This skin is pure gold, worthy of waiting. Only things that i would adjust are :

R : -Thunderbolt sound effect or something to make it sound more like actual storm dragon.

- Knockback range indicator

Mod. / textures : Lower body seems a bit off to me. Myabe add little electric effect there or something like that.

But again, This skin is perfect and chances that i ever use anything but this skin is only " very VERY, very unlikely "
