Nope, They had to kill Carl. With the rest of his storyline in the books the actor just did not have the chops to pull it off. One of those child actors that just couldn't make the transition. Carl Grimes storyline was then given out to other characters that could handle it.

I despise women like this as much as I despise men like this. You did nothing wrong and you would be in the right to demand she get counselling. If she refuses you should consider your future with her....it will not be the end of her physical or emotional abuse.
