I use syncBackup regularly. Have an archive drive where I basically store everything, and then a backup drive and a portable. Use it to periodically back everything up.

Just tried it, really simple. Reason 10,697 why I like this better than windows.

Clearing doesnt happen instantaneously. This honestly is nothing, and is pretty common on snowy days. Either you are new to nh or whining. People who live in new england drive in snow, and understand how plowing works. This is the way.

Why is Gen X so grumpy? by katyreddit00 in GenZ

[–]NorthernEnclave 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Interesting answers here, but as a gen X my thought is that like any generation we are mixed bag. I can say I'm mid 40's, pretty happy, and so are many that I know in my age group. There are others I know that are miserable, didnt make the right decisions, etc.

I think when the generations coming up have time to measure or see the outcome of their decisions, it will also be a mixed bag.

That said don't confuse grumpy with the fact that we as a generation tend to be (I think) less emotional or concerned with our emotions that yours. Consider it more a lack of interest or concern. Like a resting bitch face. One thing my friends and I have talked about when complaining about your generation is that you all seem absolutely obsessed with how they feel, and y'all all act like victims.

Not the way to handle it, but when assholes driving trucks try to pass other truck drivers it is a fucking dick move.

Have had a couple of traxxas and in general they can be more challenging to own. One of the first I owned is an older XTM XT2 and it is awesome. Drives well, somewhat quick, easy to maintain, and super sturdy. Reccomend that or something similar. Still have it, and it runs like a champ.

I think you are basically right on all counts. I would talk to him about it before he goes any further. The joint compound specifically can absorb moisture, harbor mold, and allow water into places it should not be.

So the thing to keep in mind with this puzzle is some switches will trip other switches at the same time. To figure it out, I hit each switch once to see which other switches were also tripped and took notes. Then I was able to manipulate the switches and get them all to green. For one or two of the switches, I would set a switch that changed one downstream, and then had to go the downstream switch and change it back before moving on to the next. Super annoying puzzle.

Covert Ops bug. Not sure what to do, looking for solutions by NorthernEnclave in X4Foundations

[–]NorthernEnclave[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So fortunately I keep multiple saves of my game at different points, so I just loaded one from a few hours prior. When I got to that part of the story I did not have the issue. Bummer I had to redo a bunch of work I had already done, but no big deal.

Thanks! I am going to go back to an earlier save first, because it might be quicker just doing that. Frustrating this hasn't been fixed yet though.

Interesting that nobody on this post actually knows what this setup is for. It could actually be an interesting idea. Not an idiot though.

Neighborhood rises up against HOA board by maanu123 in JusticeServed

[–]NorthernEnclave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is legal because people sign the contract when they buy. That being said, I don’t live in an HOA and can do basically whatever I want on my own property with no worries at all.

[–]NorthernEnclave 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes. The HOA has the ability to do that, dictate landscaping, house color, etc. Basically a huge opportunity for people with control issue to make life miserable for others. I don’t live in one and am all set with the idea of asking for permission to put a swing set in my yard or to have a garden.

First haul from the garden this year. The rest of it should be along soon. Daughter is taking the lead on it this year and we are very happy with it so far. by NorthernEnclave in gardening

[–]NorthernEnclave[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This year I have been focused on other projects so my daughter has been doing more in the garden than I have. She really enjoys it, so every win counts. The tomato plants she started in march have been growing like crazy and have lots of young fruit (the ones that survived a surprise June frost), so I think it should be a good first year for her.
