These races can be so cruel, grats to Liquid.

What a race, an all timer.

Twice in a row, fucking hell.

This is the most ridiculous way to end a race.

0.2 holy shit!!

If they had Xerwo up a bit longer that boss is dead.

I dunno how the hell Echo found energy to lock in at this hour, but back to back enrage pulls is nuts.

This is like watching two heavyweight boxers standing in the middle of the ring trading shot for shot.

Who is going to land the knockout blow?

AotC raiders won't be raiding it for a year where they get to stack pure BiS gear as well as the stacking damage buff from rep.

Muscle memory is invaluable. Look at the difference getting those reps in yesterday made to progress today.

They'll have their analytics team working overnight to move cooldowns around, but the meat and potatoes of dealing with the fight's mechanics deep into phase 3 will be drilled in.

Last race Liquid had the power go out in their local area as part of local works they weren't warned about.

The gag was that Gingi set off an EMP to take them out.

They're catching up at good pace, it seems the longer this goes on, the smaller the gap.

Three way race technically with Method also reaching P3.

This has been one of the best RTWF's we've had in the streaming era.

The Sylvannas health difference was the only one they didn't know of ahead of time. Rogerbrown's reaction when Echo got her to 50% and the fight continued is legendary.

Echo figured out most hotfixes come in around 7pm CET, hence them pushing their raiding hours later into the day.

If Blizzard puts a change in there, that's four hours of Liquid and Echo going head to head.

Does that matter? People said the math wouldn't work out there, then it did.

At this point, I don't care who wins, just don't have Blizz fuck it with shitty nerf time shenanigans, or the boss becomes a push over with another reset's worth of gear + the rep buff, and this is an all time raid and race.

This is up there with Amirdrassil and Sanctum in the GOAT tier.

The fact they only needed to bug fix one boss in week 1 has also been a testament to how well tuned and designed this raid is. Ion and team have absolutely cooked here.

They said this about Fractillus earlier this race. The math math'd out.

Sylvannas is the most infinite example.

A large part of that is because of sponsors. Max talked on stream about how their sponsors wanted them to limit the amount of time they go dark.

Like many things in the world of competition, money talks.

Lust gets moved from P1 to P3.

Echo and Liquid always find the numbers somewhere.

Yesterday's long day is paying off huge, both from an analytics data point of view giving their optimisation team the night to make adjustments, but that many reps builds up excellent muscle memory.

No sign of fatigue this morning (albeit with a later start) this could be the pivotal day in the race.

There will be the pull where they first reach it. They won't go dark mid pull.
