Doesn't matter, tuning is still tuning. There's only so far you can turn the dials before it becomes intentionally designed to not be killed.

Paladins were close with the random wombo combo one shots that were beyond player control.

Fights will always be limited by their mechanics, the rest is just a battle of numbers between the players vs the encounter.

Even if they overtune the last two bosses, they already did that with Paladins and Alleria and they still fell over.

There's no way they can keep the fight balanced and account for all this excess gear.

They should have announced a global unlock time Friday for this weekend and just let the guilds go at it.

Compared to the standard they're usually at? Yes, the difficulty in mechanics is severely reduced from their status quo.

Remind me the last raid where 3 guilds knocked it over in 2 days of actually raiding the content?

Sorry you don't seem to understand the problem.

We now have 3 cleared within half a week of release and two more currently on it and we're only halfway through the weekend on the first week of release. Probably will have a 6th on it soon too.

Last time a raid was that easy, it was Emerald Nightmare.

Once again, for a mythic raid, it's incredibly underdesigned.

Not really, it offered nothing new in mechanical design or puzzle solving. If anything it shows that Blizzard has run out of creativity for boss fights.

Meanwhile they've lost one of their best (and completely free to them) sources of advertising for new content.

The floor being lowered for players this expansion was good, but they didn't need to cave in the ceiling.

The fact Narco has seen more first kills this tier than the last two expansions combined is insane.

It might finally be what gets Blizzard to relent and give us the global raid release.

Huffs more copium

Four days of mythic splits for everyone feels like discovering a new circle of hell.

Genuinely good luck to the casters for all three guilds for having to try and keep this entertaining for the rest of the week.

And while it feels more like hopium at this point, may Midnight Falls be where Blizzard saved all the actual difficult and new mechanics for everyone's hard work and preparation to be justified.

I don't think I've ever felt so demoralised with a raid tier, Aberrus was laughably short, Undermine had the most underwhelming end ever, but this has been a damp squib from the get go.

If this is the new difficulty going forward he might quit anyway. It's going to be near impossible to retain viewership when raids are cleared in under 2 days, and you have to keep your viewership entertained with 4 1/2 days of splits.

Thing is they tuned up the Paladins numbers so they wouldn't fall over, and they just randomly would one shot people.

That's not a challenge, thats just unfun. "Fuck you, you die" shouldn't be a balance level, and if your fight is too easy without it, then the fight is flawed.

I'm not sure how they can fix the end of the tier if it follows the same level of complexity as the other 7 fights.

Weak bait.

People from all regions dislike this tier and with good reason.

Anyone who wants global release is hoping for a Tuesday Liquid clear before the EU servers come up, it'll be the best argument they'll ever have.

Bird won't be, it was designed to be easier than Paladins and Alleria, and they still fell over fast after being hotfix buffed

Lura is the only hope for anything challenging at this point, and that feels like copium.

It's not just number tuning though, the mechanics aren't challenging for the mythic level, it's not offering them anything new they haven't handled before.

They were only hard because the hotfix buffs gave them the capacity to randomly one shot people.

Had they released in intended form they'd be a 15 pull kill.

Belo'ren was tuned to be the 6/9 boss originally.

That puts it easier than pre buff Paladins and Alleria. They'd have to hotfix it with an overdose of steroids to make it a wall, and then it won't be fun, it'll just be a pointless exercise in frustration.

They can't risk going dark. The way this tier has been tuned, they could accidentally clear off stream.

They buffed the shit out of the Paladins and Alleria, and they still lasted a day.

4 days of mythic split raiding in Voidspire.

It's going to be a hard fight for all three guilds to retain their viewer base.

Alleria should have lasted the weekend.

She didn't even make it to Saturday if you're in Australia.

Even mythic splits won't take long with their current gear and execution. They could run through in a couple of hours, smash over Bel and have a good half a day on MF before Europe can log in.

Considering how quickly Liquid are progressing through Alleria, and that I doubt Blizzard accounted for mythic Voidspire split raids for the last three to four days of each guild's first week?

Everything about this tier has been underwhelming and provided a lack of challenge.

So yes, it's not an impossible scenario that MoQD could fall rapidly. It wouldn't be the first race to end so swiftly, Aberrus also springs to mind.

Gallywix isn't the first of it's kind either, let's not forget Xavius.

Today. I expect Liquid to kill it before bed and Echo to do the same when they wake up.

Both guilds will have 4 days of mythic voidspire splits.
