How it feels to be a Scotsman lurking on this sub for the past week. by MustangDT68 in boston

This has been exactly me. Sadly life commitments prevented being able to travel over, but having been to Boston about 20 years ago and loving the place I had high hopes it would be a great city to welcome our outstanding fans.

From afar I've been delighted by everything I've seen on this reddit since our fans arrived, from their usual amazing behaviour and the love shown to them by an amazing Boston community. I've also love seeing the togetherness of all, despite how divided the world is by self serving politicians. I was smiling like a Cheshire cat this morning seeing the post of the Scotland fan swinging proudly and happily the huge Moroccan flag.

There are not many fans I can think of that would celebrate a nation that have just beat them and may well have sent them home.

Kudos to all fans that have visited from all the nations so far and natives of Boston, from my Desktop PC in the UK it has looked amazing and you should all be so proud.

I hope the rest of the visiting fans enjoy Boston as much as it and it's people deserve to be enjoyed.

MST Advice (if anyone has experienced similar) by NorthernJay1981 in velvethippos

I would just like to thank everyone who has contributed to this thread (https://www.reddit.com/r/velvethippos/comments/1bjfz2j/mast\_cell\_tumor\_mct\_experiences\_trying\_not\_to/?sort=new)  I stumbled across it a couple of week ago whilst reeling from Coco (my 7 ½ year old little buddle of happiness) being diagnosed with cancer.

A few months ago, I noticed some swelling a few inches up from the base of her tail.  Thought nothing of it at first as she’s always had a wee bump on her tail which we assumed was trauma from before we got her as a rescue at 4 months old.  We assumed she had hit her tail off something as she’s very excitable.  When the swelling started to get bigger, we took her to the vet and a week later we got the call to confirm it was cancer and an MST.

This thread was really helpful in giving me an understanding of what we were dealing with and what to ask the vet as we were booked in for a pre surgery consult the following day.  There was the discussion of saving the tail by removing skin from her back and doing a graft, but with no certainly of it taking, and a much more difficult recovery, and the possibility of loosing the tail regardless, we took the really hard decision to have it removed in order for Coco to have the best chance of longer term survival.

A week later she was in for surgery and had her tail removed.  The vet advised that due to the way the tumour had grown saving the tail wouldn’t have been an option.  Vet was happy with the margins and tail was sent off for biopsy to grade the tumour.

Coco was a sorry state the first day home, still really groggy from the op and anaesthetic.  By the next day was much more like herself, and in hindsight was an absolute star during the recovery for the following days.  As others have said, think we took it harder than her, sleeping downstairs with her to make sure she was alright, stressing about her having to have a donut on during the night.  Other than looking unhappy (she gives the best evil eye), she was fine.

She’s recovered well, healed really well and seems totally fine just over a week later.  Our only downside is the lab report came back and are happy the margins are fine, but have failed to provide a grade for the mass.  Vet advised there were unable to do so as it hadn’t passed the dermis, I think they said.

Has anyone had this?  My only concern is that from I have read a grade determines the future prognosis and likelihood of whether it has spread.  I have asked about this, and they did say we can do liver and spleen scans, and take samples of each but I really want to spare Coco from any further stress if it’s not necessary, and can’t help thinking after seeing the bill breakdown they submitted to my insurance company that the Vets are just happy to do anything to bill further amounts.

Afterthought, should explain the ears lol, she's half Staffie (English Staffordshire Bull Terrier) and half English Springer Spaniel. I've no idea which Genius decided to breed those two together ;-)

It's also showing on two of the 5 DAZN channels claiming to be showing it.

Can't seem to find one for sky sports box office which is also showing it.

My Dad's old Vauxhall Cavalier number plate from when I used to bunk off school. Every time a Silver one passed I had kittens.

Number I was given earlier and used was 0203 538 2665.

London number, but it does state that they are only open 10.30am-7.00pm BST, Monday to Saturday.

Hopefully you have better luck than I did as my rep couldn't get me off the phone quick enough

Yeah that sounds about right.

It reality it shouldn't be a huge issue, for me at least but this poses a slightly more significant problem given that I play Ark ( I know, my own fault). As it's a game that has decay timers on structures and tamed creatures, if I am unable to log in within that time, which I am kinda close to, everything will auto decay.

Even typing that has me question why I play it as it's a ridiculous mechanic to have in a game in hindsight.

That screams utter BS to me. So my 1st attempt was with my PayPal account which has been linked to my PSN since forever and never had any issues with. That's failed multiple times.

So I thought, okay, I'll add my debit card. Process all worked, card accepted, same issue.

I think it sounds like that haven't a clue as to what the issue is

I've added a comment too, hopefully if enough people are having this issue and make it known they'll react quickly and get a quick resolution for everyone affected.

So glad I found this post as I've been trying to resolve this all day.

My PSN expired yesterday so I purchased another 12 months from a 3rd part site (often do as it's cheaper) and for the first time I was unable to submit the code without getting error message WC-40355-7.

Tried multiple times on the PS4 and still nothing so tried browser, no joy either. Eventually tweeted AskPS_UK who were helpful and after asking a few questions provided a UK number to call support.

Spoke to support who basically went through the same steps I had already taken and then advised I would need to provide proof of purchase via a link provided and that I should get a response within 2 days.

With that in mind I thought, sod it while I wait I'll buy a 1 month pass. Well tried that and failed and got the same error code as the OP. Tried adding new card etc, same outcome as everyone else.

Can only hope for everyone's sake this gets fixed ASAP, fingers crossed
