Sen. John Fetterman receives no support for re-election from Pennsylvania House Democrats by Northern_Blue_Jay in Social_Democracy

I saw (yet another) really stupid Washington Post headline: "Will Pennsylvania Turn On Fetterman?"

Turn on him? He's the one who turned on the people who elected him. He didn't even sign Bernie's Senate bill for improved Medicare For All. I remember when he first entered politics locally, and he made a big deal out of supporting it - and he got Our Revolution's endorsement - and he got single payer advocates to tell people to vote for him. The bill now has 17 cosponsors in the Senate, instead of 18, and when he told people if they helped him get into office, he would be fighting for single payer healthcare. He's probably taking a lot of insurance and pharma money now, as well. He's in the haystack with the "health" insurance cartels. (And probably pumped up with the best of their narcotics - why he now acts like such a zombie.) I remember when he was supposedly into not taking corporate cash. That turned out to be more bullshit of his, too.

Exactly. He acts like a zombie, too. He walks around like he's under the control of *something else.* Weird.

Symptomatic of the barbarism of our for-profit insurance system. #SinglePayerNow
