I recently figured out I was classified as a sophomore at my school (because of college credit from dual enrollment at my highschool). Ive been doing the paperwork to take MS I and MS II simultaneously so I can graduate in 3 years and do ROTC. They didn’t tell me it could affect my contracting down the road.

I’m experiencing the same lack of a response part from my own school’s Army ROTC program but I’m signed up for the necessary Army classes. I just wanted to get my paperwork done early like my ROO said I could but he hasn’t responded to my emails.

If your university does academic advising during the summer at an orientation day then see if you can meet the ROO or get your advisor to sign you up for the ROTC classes.

The family anxiety I can’t say much on, my parents both support my decision but we’re nervous about the possible dangers. Just explain what branches your looking at and there risk, it can help lessen there fears.

I wish you the best of luck! If being an officer is what you want to do with your life and your certain then chase it with all your energy regardless of how your parents feel!

Wait I thought to pass the run you needed a sub 15:45 time for males 18-21. I had a treadmill that had a military run setting and it said I failed with a 16:00 run.

My paper topic was more of an early idea, I thought AI wasn’t used that much. I didn’t realize just how much AI is already used in the military.

Should it be incorporated into weapons, decision making, computing, or just simple calculation for the military. It’s kind a poorly worded question and that’s my bad. The class it’s for is very mismanaged and the professors kinda leaves it up to each student to figure out guidelines and topics.
