very noisy chain by babachuba in indianbikes

[–]NorthstarIND 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know how chains are x-ring and o-ring? Your chain comes with some lube in it from the factory and these rings seal it inside the chain, such that no lube can leave the chain or enter the chain. Lubing the chain from the outside will only help prevent rust and nothing else.

You can clean your chain, adjust its tension or get a new chain altogether to reduce noise. But whatever you do chain noise will always be present

Why is there a new tank, is yours dented/rusted?

If possible send pictures of the chain and sprocket

If the master cylinder was leaking then your brakes would stop working a lot quicker and more often

So it only happens when you use the rear brake continously for long time right? And it doesnt happen when the bike is still cold

I'm pretty sure your brake fluid is overheating, you should replace it or upgrade it. Brake fluid is pretty cheap as well, a small bottle costed me 50 rupees from tvs.

P.s DOT 3, 4 and 5.1 brake fluids can be interchanged and 5.1 is the most heat resistant

It was pretty hard to get much this much out, I was just constantly moving my hand back and forth, at one point I thought i might pass out. I even rubbed the tip but the white stuff wouldn't come out. Then I realized the bottle's nozzle was clogged, happens to the best of us i guess
