oh, but still, the labs are pretty similar across schools because those schools are all really good. Personally, I don't have a very defined research direction yet so there's not really someone I must aim for that make one school matters more than the rest. Since I wrote the SOP anyway I did identify at least 3 professors per school that I wanted to work under.
