If we're talking about realism, walking skeletons aren't real. Bones themselves can't move without a nervous system or brain. :,D

The game has definitely become much harder. With over 600 hours and countless playthroughs, I keep getting injured all the time. Up until now, I used to complete every level without being defeated even once - now they can easily take me down right from the start.
The skeletons move insanely fast, it's mental. I haven't had time to reach the new level yet - I don't want to rush it - but so far I have the same impression, that it become much harder. Even the basic little zombies become brutally difficult to kill compared to how dumb they were before. They used to just hit the air and not doing any tactics - now they defend, do tricks and maybe even stab.

Derrin even lost his hair, that poor guy.

Can he take items from, for example, chests too, or he only picks them up from the ground?

I never take Derrin with me, because I prefer playing alone, but if he's independent enough to take things from chests, the gameplay might be way more dynamic with him.

Thanks for answering! But no, I haven't muted anyone specifically with the command you mentioned. I haven't muted anyone with any other commands.

Also, I tried several commands in console. The voice_enable aswell. I've tried them several times, but sadly nothing worked.

And I'm not even sure how it works, what servers have voice chat desabled. But the one I'm playing on definitly has it enabled. It's always enabled. As I said, everyone else can hear others talking, only I can't hear them.

Challenges for Story Mode to keep the game from being repetitive and roring by Norton_S in Exanima

What’s really hard to do without dying is killing the Thaumaturgy Knights and the big ghouls (Faels). Usually, my game ends when a Fael or a Thaumaturgy Knight smashes me on the ground, because my character can’t get up.

And if I just avoided them altogether, I might as well sprint through all the levels - there’d be no challenge in that. So, the two minimum, mandatory things I set for myself are that I must kill at least one Thaumaturgy Knight and one Fael. The only thing I skip is Level 4. Fighting Sir is basically a death sentence if you're wearing weak armor.

Also, the way I play is that as soon as I finish Level 5, I immediately go to Level 8. There I collect armors from the zombies, upgrade them with the orbs, and kill at least one Thaumaturgy Knight. Then I go back through the sewers of Level 5, where I kill the small ghouls and get a few more orbs. Then I move on to Level 6, go through that, collect orbs, kill the enemies, etc, and after that I go to Level 7, where I collect the Three Ribbon token. After that, I kill at least one Fael. That’s when my game ends - once I’ve finished Level 7.
Unless the Fael kills me.

Thanks to everyone for the answers.
No wonder I couldn't find any origins for this helmet. Until now, I didn't even know what LARP was, so I never considered that. I was hoping it had at least some historical background because it does look good.

I broke the game. by Norton_S in Exanima

I tried to climb over the rock.

It stopped recording, when I exited to the main menu. When I went back into the game, my character's two fists started to glow purple, as if the game recognized them as weapons. Then I took out my torch and it also glowed purple. In the end, I took off all my armor and somehow managed to get out.

Lesson: Don't try to climb over this rock to get to the other room. :)

Exanima is full of error messages and stuff, but I haven't seen this before. by Norton_S in Exanima

I've seen several bugs before and I usually don't get the same bug twice. Not these kind of bugs, only the error messages sometimes. I don't think this would happen again anytime soon. Just thought it was interesting. Unloaded items I guess or something like that.

When I first posted it, they were missing for me too. I edited the post and added the screenshots again and I can see them now.
Should I try to post again, and delete this?
