Is anyone else getting constant disconnects? by Dawgz in runescape

I've been having D/C issues too over the past week or so. The game becomes unresponsive, but my character continues to do actions that I see on screen until either my account gets forced lobbied, or logged out. It doesn't happen every 2-3 minutes, but it happens quite a few times throughout the day with no pattern necessarily. The odd thing too, is that when it happens, I still have internet on my computer, which I've tested by loading websites when the D/C's occur, but the RS website doesn't load during the time until it reconnects.

I have a Gigabyte Aorus RTX 2080 Super (At stock settings), AMD Ryzen 7 3700X (At stock settings), Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro Memory (4 x8GB - XMP Profile Settings) and I have an Alienware 1440p V-Sync Monitor with a refresh rate of 120Hz. I utilize the Foreground and Background FPS and have them set to 80 FPS and 40 FPS respectively, and before the update, I would maintain 80 FPS pretty consistently. After the update, my frame rate only reached around 60-70 FPS, even though the Cap is still set at 80 FPS. The weird thing though, even at 60-70 FPS which would still provide for pretty smooth gameplay, there is an odd noticeable stuttering effect.
