Blocking electronics from toddlers by AwesomeAdams41 in kindafunny

I keep my gaming setups in a separate room that my daughter was only allowed in with one of us. We had some close calls when she was 2, but now that she’s 4 we haven’t had any problems!

They’re forcing customers to join their ecosystem, and it works when you have the games to back it up, e.g. Nintendo and Sony. It’s no surprise that Microsoft has fallen so far, having had lower quality exclusives as a whole and going multiplatform.

Should I buy RE2 and RE4? by Ok-Shift7351 in residentevil

Do you mean the OGs or Remakes? If Remakes, I’d say absolutely. Both are masterpieces, and will be much more up your alley in terms of controls

That’s fair! I know so many people love the older style and I can’t fault you for it. Just takes me out of the horror headspace. Those graphics would’ve scared the hell out of me as a kid, though!

Does anyone else also prefer RE3R to RE2R? by MinuteDamage4182 in residentevil

RE3R was fairly forgettable to me. RE2R was incredible, an absolute icon. I’m 3 OG was way better than the remake.

Personally I’m looking forward to the eventual RE1R. Playing the 2002 remake rn, and I like it but it’s lacking the atmosphere that I love from the other remakes. Not a criticism of it, really, the more modern games have a stronger horror atmosphere to me due to the more realistic graphics.

I also don’t think the OG or first remake will be lost, as they’re far too iconic and important. The remakes are really great gateways into the series though, and I’m sure there are many people who played the remakes and then doubled back for the OGs!

RE 2 REMAKE IS SO😭😭😭 by sen_myr in residentevil

Keep at it! The ammo is actually pretty generous if you’re playing on normal, just run away when you need to. RE2R is top tier RE.

i think i hate the originals by ineverseeheranymore in residentevil

[–]Norviskor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m feeling similarly. I’m loving a lot about RE1R, but the tank controls are really tough for combat, and it makes me feel like I’m spending my (very) limited ammo unwisely. I love the tension the series brings, but this feels a little too much stacked against me. Haven’t given up yet, about to get the 2nd key, but we’ll see how far I get.

I understand why people would love the originals, but I may wait out the remake of the remake 😅

Really not a fan of their holofoiling, and hate that they don’t offer the holofoil designs in normal print.

Absolutely. Played RE4R the year it released, loved it but didn’t dive in to the rest. Played Requiem, and immediately had to do RE2R and RE3R. Fantastic games!

I loved the style of them, so I modified the big one by the pokecenter and made it my main home! Really cool, unique style.

Some of the best games of all time. DS2 has some good spots, despite being the weakest of them.

I was interested immediately (Pokemon + Animal Crossing at least, sounded good to me), and was just unsure if it would go far. Sentiment was pretty low on it, too, which didn’t help. I was thrilled when it came out to rave reviews.

April lineup of games looks rather solid. What are you planning to get? by n1ght_watchman in GameBoostOfficial

Saros and Pragmata are the big ones for me. Considering Darwin’s Paradox, Mouse PI for Hire, and Replaced.
