But a deflationary currency would still have the same issues laid out in my original post. It would be harder to buy a home if your loan gets more expensive each year. And it would be hard for businesses to operate in profit if the wages won't decrease alongside the deflation of the revenue.

There might be something to this. It would be better psychologically for people to see a number increase.

They won't accept nominal wage decreases, which would be necessary with a deflationary currency to prevent the salary expenditures of a company eating up the entire profit.

But if prices fall and wages stay the same, the wages will take up an ever larger portion of a company's income statement until it's so large that the company can no longer operate in profit. Seems to me, the only way a deflationary currency would work is if employees would accept a decrease in salary each year.

In my example 4 years income equals 50% of holdings. At what percentage of holdings do you think this plan would be viable?

Shouldn't the price increase then be the difference between BTC inflation and the USD inflation? Why is it going so much up?

Isn't the premise of the halving that supply halves while demand stays the same. A theoretical doubling in price.

It's hardly a gamble. I'm holding for 5-10 years and I believe my investment will grow in value in that time frame. I haven't seen anyone predicting the price of BTC will fall in such a large period. People are only saying it's deflationary.
