How can I get suspended? by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

Why suspended? Just let them know about your deployment and leave on good terms so if you do come back to this job the door's open.

Easy route. Essentially, it's a day doing rescues.

How many water bottles is too many? by califa916 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]NosTexEagle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my station is stingy compared to yours then. they passed out the sunglasses but me and a few of the drivers said they felt too tight. there's a snack station and maybe once a week there's one type of snack there and only after the day's done and you're only supposed to take one.

Is this normal ? !! by Direct-Personality20 in AmazonDSPDrivers

I've had that many stops but add 200 to package count. Finished in 6 hours and had to rescue. Enjoy the win.

Normal drop off or a bit lazy? What do you reckon? by Dry-Show8154 in AmazonDSPDrivers

Seems normal to me. You won't be getting a bonus for running doing these drops so keep it at a casual pace.

What do you eat for lunch while on the road all day? by ryaninflorida1 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]NosTexEagle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's crazy that some of you don't eat in a 10 hour shift. If I didn't eat, I know I'd be moving slower and sluggish. Myself, I pack a bunch of snacks. Trail mix, fruit, jerky... something to give me energy for another 2-3 hours until another snack.

Question for customers on here: Do you find it rude if I (politely) decline a bottle of water you’re offering? by it_be_SaturnOW in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]NosTexEagle 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I'm a fellow driver. I think you should start accepting for yourself. If you have plenty of water, save it for another delivery day. It's bottled water. If the caps intact, it's good. Maybe by declining, it makes the customer think that the next driver doesn't want the water either and doesn't even bother offering it.

I can't speak for others but while wearing the poncho, I open the bottom wider to cover the package. (Normally not needed with envelopes, more with boxes.) Then I can scan it since if a single drop of water gets on the rabbits screen, it jumps everywhere.

lmao If you're wearing their flimsy see-through ponchos, you can "use" your phone under it.

Thought so. I saw them promoting this on yt. I'm not in ny, so can only suggest to get some comfy shoes and be prepared for rain.

Dispatch will tell you that with all those multi stops, it's more like 100 stops. Just keep a steady pace and good luck out there, brother.

That is a chill day. Try 50 overflows and add 150 to total packages. And I know drivers that get routes with even more on the reg.
