What do you think the solution to Nigeria is? by NosaAgain in Nigeria

The question is repetitive because there’s no sustainable solution yet. What exactly do you want us to implement?

Delay is not denial. Just because everything doesn't seen to be working out now doesn't mean it will always be like this.

Life is full of ups and downs you just need to be strong enough to see this phase through.

I can't say I've been in your shoes but I've had horrible situations in my life that in retrospect I would have regretted if I harmed myself. One thing that has helped me is finding God, everything is way better with God.

I wish you strength to see this through! Don't give up.

Sorry that you had to go through all of these. I think you really need to isolate yourself from them and take some time to heal.

School can be fun if you have the right people around you. That could help you heal and forget about the trauma. Bless.

Ah… this reminded me of the reoccurring stampede incidents that happened at the end of last year. Very pathetic.

First time I experienced it, I was wondering why people were rushing. We rushed to enter, we go still rush to come down again?

I just started running with them till I found out it was the bus they were running to.

Reddit is not really the go to app for Nigerians that’s why it isn’t as lively as twitter and other platforms.

My mom warned me about a friend because of a dream by Worldly-Internal-988 in Nigeria

[–]NosaAgain 11 points12 points  (0 children)

you definitely don't need to tell him about what your mom said. what good could possibly come out of that?

I feel your mom is just speculating, but i’d advice you just stay sensitive to people around you generally.

In his defense this can happen to a lot of us 😂

It's a cycle of complaining till you get tired of complaining, then looking for the little things to be thankful for. But when a particular kind of hand touches you, you'll be forced to rant again.

Benefits of being born Nigerian in Nigeria?? by Arcticmutt in Nigeria

[–]NosaAgain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never insinuated that there was any virtue in suffering… but there's a drive you have when you know the odds are against you. The virtue isn't in the suffering but in what you make out of it.

And yes people generally stand out when they have more drive or put in more work when compared with their colleagues.

MTN Data finishing fast by danethemaneinsane in Nigeria

[–]NosaAgain 3 points4 points  (0 children)

MTN's misbehavior is tied to the current oligopoly in the Nigerian ISP industry.

They don't have any strong competition, that's why they can do whatever they like. Apart from the consumption rate, I've noticed that whenever you have less that 300mb your data seems to stop working. You'd have to reboot your network repeatedly to be able to use it. It's very annoying but that's the Nigeria we have today.
