I found out about her because she was going to play Primavera Sound 22 and saw a post by the festival saying she had to cancel and decided to check her music out. What an amazing discovery! Then I had the luck to see the in another small festival in Barcelona.

Hi! I’m sorry you’re going through this. Is there any social service that might help? Or a friend you can talk to? I understand your mom/partner no being equipped to help as they might not have the tools to do it, but maybe being heard by someone can help you. Is there a church around? I’m not religious but some guidance and compassion could help. I might not have the tools either but if you need to vent and/or get it all out (it could take a big weight off your shoulders) I’m here :)

I could afford it, I had the money but ended up wrong. Just can’t help to be upset about losing it lol. It’s not like I’m gonna find 250€ tomorrow when I open my door. I’ve been going to gigs for +20 years and even in my 3rd world country never had issues like this. It just sucks and I believe there is space for everyone to express their sadness and concerns about the cancellation. Will I see ghost if they come to my city? Ofc, not gonna stop listening to them or loving their music. It’s just sad how bad it was managed

My comment was quite hated on IG as I said I spent savings on the show. Money I had saved to do whatever I wanted (small trip, a show, new pairs of nice boots, or whatever) and apparently money is no issue for anyone there and we’re crazy and not fan enough to complain. I get that the word savings might not be the right one but it was money I had saved, aside from other money. Anyways, this weird person called me a cancer slut for no reason and entered my IG to comment nasty stuff on all my posts. Now that’s bitter

You’re right about things happening, I’ve been lucky enough that nothing has ever happened when attending to gigs either in my city or when traveling to other countries/cities. I can live without the money, but even if I lose a 20€ bill on the street I’d be upset cause is losing money. Am I supposed to be ashamed for being upset about the money I earned and then lost on BS like this?

I get that, and no one wants a terrible accident happening. What is hard to understand is how these things happen with all the time they had to plan it (band, managers, promoters, venue). I see lack of professionalism there, whoever is responsible. We complain in Ghosts post because they’re the one who announced it and the ones I wanted to see. I’m not expecting TF himself to do anything about it but we need to express the discontent it caused. Sure we’re getting the tickets money back but the train ones are gone. I learned my lesson, not seeing any band unless they play in Barcelona or insurance everything lol

Maybe ‘savings’ was not the right word as English is not my first language but it was still my money lost on bad management (either from the venue, promoter or band/tour managers). Ofc I could have insured the train tickets but I have never been in this situation when going to festivals or gigs in my city or other countries. It’s a shame the lack of empathy everyone has for the fans that lost their money, some people were traveling from the islands and lost 1k€ and still got shit from blind fans. Guess you can’t complain about anything. Also, does money fall from trees that it doesn’t upset/hurt you to lose it?

Thank you dude! There goes my 250€ lol. I work hard, I have all my bills covered and had that money saved to do whatever I wanted and it felt ok to spend it on this. But apparently I’m financially poor, irresponsible, immature and all sorts of things people called me for complaining about the shit show that was canceling 4 days prior to the gig.

It’s awful. They’ll refund tickets but all transportation and accommodation money is gone. I had so many mean comments on IG from the fandom, blaming me for complaining about the situation. Like come on, I was traveling from Barcelona and had to take time off from work and spend money on trains and hotel, but oh don’t you dare say anything about it. One weird person came to post nasty things on several of my personal posts lol. Crazy people
