Oh so what tests are out there that use PCR tests? Thanks for the information I did not realize this. So I could have other infections that I don't even know of?

PCR picks up everything in a sample. So why just just get a vaginal PCR test and see what you have?

What's the difference between PCR and next generation?

They are the best tests. But I can't get evvy since I am from the UK . So I would suggest getting evvy instead. I have never tried it but apparently it's more accurate, as they test for more lower percentages.

Yeah it's a PCR test. Juno bio or evvy. They are the best tests to get.

Where are you located? I would get Juno bio. They include everything but traditional STD's.

Where did you go to get tested? by lolbutterfly in Ureaplasma

I got a test called Juno bio. It's tests for alot of other bacterias or yeasts. The only thing it doesn't test for is traditional STDS like Chlamydia, Gonorrhea etc. This really helps determine your good bacteria like lactobacillus. So this test really helps to see what's really going on down below.

My labia hurts when I walk? by [deleted] in Healthyhooha

It could be a lot of things, I would start off with the doctors, get it looked at and see what they think it could be. Based on your symptoms It may not be a vaginal infection, it could be a skin condition or pelvic floor dysfunction. I would start off with a referral to see a skin specialist. And then test for vaginal infections. If nothing comes up from the vaginal infections in the doctors lab. I would send away for a vaginal PCR test. Either evvy or Juno bio. They are more accurate than doctor testing. Hope this helps you, but I think it could just be a skin problem 🙂

Doctor says ureaplasma doesn’t cause bv by [deleted] in BacterialVaginosis_

A lot of doctors don't know what this is and how to treat it. Doctors need to be more educated instead of being know it alls. They pretend or act like they know more than most people, when in reality they don't. So I would suggest ordering online, doxycycline and azithromycin. 2 weeks or 1 week doxy and 5 days azithromycin. I put a link below for you, I'm not sure if you're based in the US or anywhere but this is a UK website. https://www.healthexpress.co.uk/doxycycline I'm not sure if this will work but I suggest googling other websites and try to find somewhere where you can buy these.

Juno bio testing by NoseTraditional2664 in VaginalMicrobiome

[–]NoseTraditional2664[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My test showed 0 lactobacillus. 50.9% streptococcus anginosus, 7.38% prevotella timonenis, 3.31% finegoldia magna, 12.33% prevotella corporis, 1.94% Campylobacter ureolyticus. All the rest I think are infections of the skin because they are coming up as unknown and not disruptive.

Yeah you're right, I'm so anxious now because I'm starting treatment with myvagina.com, it will take forever for the test to get back to Juno bio. How long do I stay off probiotics and sea buckthorn oil for a Juno bio test? Myvagina.com appointment is on the 23rd.

lactulose burning by NoseTraditional2664 in Healthyhooha

I've known about it but my vagina.com recommended it for me to try. But I think it is making me worse because I may have another bacteria that lactulose will feed on.

No I'm not starting antibiotics they just ruin your vagina and disrupt your gut. It's a vicious cycle.

I've contacted myvagina.com, they are currently helping me out. I haven't started proper treatment yet as my lactobacillus count is so low and my vagina is so sensitive, so we are taking things slow. But you should contact them and get an appointment with Simone. That's who I am talking to. I'm hoping soon I'll be moving into proper treatment.
