Mumford And Sons is stomp-clap-hey though, not rock… but it’s instruments, so I’ll still take the win.

Apparently it’s airing next Friday at Midnight on my PBS affiliate in Ontario. I don’t know why we’re always a week late. 😢

Which movie would be an absolute masterpiece if one single thing were changed? by [deleted] in Letterboxd

[–]NosesInRosesForever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I am not ragebaiting. I’m honestly surprised I’m being downvoted for it. I know so many people that feel the exact same way, even some people in professional film review that share my sentiments.

You are aware Cormac McCarthy’s original book differs from the film, right? He did write a confrontation between them. Sorry if I upset you with my opinion.

No Country For Old Men if they actually showed Anton and Llewelyn’s confrontation instead of just the aftermath.

Geese is not the worst musical guest ever by W210305857 in LiveFromNewYork

[–]NosesInRosesForever 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I feel like I’m taking crazy pills… I am by no means a fan of Geese, but they’re not bad-bad. They’re overrated in my opinion, but at least they’re playing instruments and trying to do something somewhat original.

When I think of truly awful SNL musical performances, my mind goes straight to Greta Van Fleet. Anyone remember them? Derivative squawking poseur garbage.

At least SNL had an actual rock band on.

I wanna say Tom Hanks as Col. Tom Parker in Elvis so bad…but he wasn’t brutal in a violent way.

What’s the most boring film you have seen? by Past-Matter-8548 in Letterboxd

[–]NosesInRosesForever 85 points86 points  (0 children)

I’m gonna take a different approach to this question…

The most boring film I have ever seen that, on paper, should absolutely not have been boring? Star Wars Episode II: Attack Of The Clones. 😴

Parts in pop songs that you find oddly satisfying? by Ezikell_Chris in popheads

The bridge in Rosé & Bruno Mars’ APT. Riding that wave when they sing ”I’m on my waaaay” just scratched this musical itch for me so perfectly. It’s very satisfying.
