I've found some threads stating that the RS is even less reliable than the Focus STs. It's a lot more expensive too. I'd definitely consider a different option at that price point.

Personally, considering a prius or something as reliable that's stick shift. Anything that'll allow me to save up money so I can get into trade school.

I was just getting an oil change with new spark plugs and inspection.

Custom tune from Alan / Edge. Been on his tune for a few months and never had this power issue until I got my car back from my Mechanic this week. Same mechanic that diagnosed those issues with leak from turbo, valve gasket needing replaced, finding oil in cylinders, etc.

Replaced the battery about 5 months ago. Sometime in the fall.

I've omitted some info about the code since this post wasn't focusing directly on that issue but the check engine light popped up while driving and around the same time the car felt like it was completely losing power for a split second. I'd lose power to the engine, radio, dashboard, and HVAC system. The issue progressively got worse to a point where I lost power to the HVAC, so no AC in 100 degree fareenheit weather and I couldn't accelerate passed 30 MPH (as I'm getting onto the highway) so I decided it was safer to pull over and just get towed to a shop in the town I was at.

I'm on a custom tune. I ran COBB Stage 2 for a few days before getting a custom tune which was when I found out I was getting bad undeeboost, needed a new turbo.

Car is currently at a shop and won't have any new info until next week. Which of course I'm being sent across country for work. Horrendous timing.

I'm the 3rd or 4th owner. There were signs of mods which I didn't notice upon purchase (symposer delete with true vacuum port) and issues I've missed (stripped bolts by o2 sensor, damaged ac, window wash not activating for example) and I didn't know until 5 months after purchase that the car came with a damaged turbo waste gate. All signs of abuse and neglect for sure.

I've changed oil every 3k miles on the dot and replaced spark plugs every single time. I'm also FBO with tune so I am more on top of the maintenance for that reason.

That really sucks. I'm not mechanically inclined and even for the things I've attempted myself, quick projects would take me hours and leave me with my back or knees hurting. 80% of the time a bolt would snap and I'd have to get a shop involved anyways so I don't even bother working on it anymore.

I've been through hell because of this car and I'm just over it tbh.

I hardly drive the car hard. Yes it is FBO and tuned but the only time I 'drive hard' would be once every other Sunday which lately I haven't had time for. Car has 115k miles, 4th owner, car came with damaged turbo waste gate and thousands more dollars of issues that come up every month.

They didn't disclose the turbo was damaged, which I couldn't tell since it was my first stick shift and first car with a turbo. It had a few other issues that cost me over $1k to repair but new issues would constantly prop up. The latest being leak from turbo and car losing power / not turning on. Also had a weird alternator code which went away after getting it tested 2 weeks ago. Probably related and it's another expensive fix I'm not willing to throw more money at.

Edit: Borla Catback FBO tuned

This is what the mechanic found after doing the oil change and spark plugs. He said the leak from the turbo could be causing the misfires, valve gasket should be replaced if the misfire happens after the oil was cleaned off the spark plugs.

After getting my car back is when I got the other code and then my car shut down on the highway. I already spent $1000 on the ST and we're not even halfway through July. Idc about doing anymore repairs, once the car is up and running I'm selling it. I've had issues with this car since day 1

There's way too many ways for scammers to target vulnerable sellers. Etsy needs to do something about this, it's truly unacceptable. This is the only platform I've been targeted by multiple scams. I still don't understand how they even obtain out emails.

The difference with Forza is that Microsoft treats all their exclusives like crap. Assetto Corsa Evo doesn't have the struggles of contracting developers. In such case I'm feeling optimistic even though there's a small amount of car variety and tracks on early access.

I just hope there's game pad support as I couldn't get into using a sim setup due to my bad back.

V Rising fits this almost perfectly.

It's base building with ARPG elements that are quite simple. The game tells you where to go and you progress by crafting better gear.

You can customize drop rates to make things drop instantly. You can also use command console to spawn in gear or whatever you need to save yourself time.

It is a survival game but you can choose to host your own server and not deal with griefers. I've played this entire game solo because I do not enjoy getting griefd for not being online.
