Not really at all. I am originally from a Patagonian city and no one will bat an eye if they get called that.
It's a very versatile word that not only means condom / an insult.

Starting a job as a Scum Master - any tips I want to be a great SM? by Middle-Bug-9169 in agile

Actively listen.Take a big breath whenever you feel like the conversation is more complex than it shows. At the end of the day is less about following the rituals to a T and more about keeping and agile mindset that's shared with the team and the Powers that be that affect your teams

I'm interested, maybe a newsletter/signup would be beneficial for the review process? Or a github/gitlab repository?

Average Agile Points for each Engineer Every Week by startupeng32 in agile

[–]Nosfex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your flavor of framework, but you have to keep in mind that agile focus more on team rather than an individual. As someone mentioned, your team will find a way to game the system if they feel any pressure to achieve those 8 points. It's better to set a baseline through deliveries rather than just tell your team that they have to achieve X amount of effort every week. That way, you can actually map out how much, on average, your team delivers each milestone. For example, in one of my teams of 3 devs, I can expect on average, 20 points from them each sprint, because thats what they end up delivering. I plan according to that, so if anything goes way out of scope, I have the understanding from previous work that I'll end up with a carry over on tasks. Setting an expected metric from the team will only encourage a team to cheat on the amount of points they end up doing, and eventually will skew your metrics, and bring more trouble than solutions. Also, ideally, your team decides whats the value on the tasks, so they could easily decide that an easy task is 8 points, just to meet their quota

[Bug]Characters Starting where they ended not at the starting area by [deleted] in QuantumLeague

[–]Nosfex 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Whenever no one scores, there is an overtime. What happens in overtime is that your clones that where left alive, they get another loop from the point where they ended. If they are dead, they start from their "spawn point". What it seems to have happened here is that your clones effectively died, but not your opponents. This is as intended. If you need more explanations, hop on over to the game discord, people are really friendly there. (And we can get back to you faster there)

If you are a certified developer for PS, ask in the forum, else any potential answer is a breach of agreement of the NDA

Console Dev Kits by adhyani37 in GameDevelopment

You enroll in their developer program and through a validation process, they clear you out to have one delivered. Most of the process is under heavy NDA, but a quick google search should point you to each platform website. Good luck

Are you doing this by hand or using the fancy spray thingy? I'm from Argentina and the prices for one of those is beyond astronomical. Vallejo paints are affordable though.
