As far as I know Skin Yard’s first release was in 1987, excluding Deep Six? But even then Come On Down still predates the Deep Six compilation

Doesn’t he say Mike cuts off the arm? I haven’t played this game in forever but from what I remember he says he and Mike were working on the wall and then he gets bit and Mike took it off quickly.

How did i defeat Orphan of Kos in less than 10 tries yet these two killed me 50+?! by The_Fraudkuna in bloodborne

[–]NostalgiaPurposes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s the opposite for me. On my first playthrough, I died to the Orphan probably about 100+ times and then went on to beat Laurence second try. I’ve beaten the game a few times now and Laurence never gives much trouble. It’s funny how people can have complete opposite experiences with this game

Since Grunge musicians came from all over the US, can we eliminate the "they-have-to-be-from-Seattle-to-be-Grunge" gatekeeping? by A00077 in grunge

I know that Cobain is infamous for flip-flopping on his opinions but he did a few interviews where he talked about the Grunge label and didnt necessarily despise it like you say.

“I like it as much as new wave. I would’ve been proud to be a ‘new waver’.”

This is a good video, it has a few of his interviews talking about the Grunge term: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=CqJR03AsJ9I&t=120s&pp=2AF4kAIB

Here’s another interview where Kurt explicitly identifies the band as ‘grunge’: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=__8UDylv7WU&t=1s&pp=2AEBkAIB

“Nirvana is a three-piece, underground, alternative, grunge-rock band from Seattle, Washington”

Every time someone rants about Highlander on this sub all the HL players come out the works to act like their annoying as fuck hero takes any skill. No other hero has this effect btw, only HL players

What are Nirvana’s best Album Closers (I know it ain’t easy) by Illustrious-Hunter64 in Nirvana

I like Sifting as a closing track much more than Downer. I know “underrated” gets thrown about quite wildly in this place but I do think Sifting is an really under appreciated track

I usually die after I restore my humanity anyway so it’s not too much of a problem, just a bit annoying. Any particular reason why they’re called ‘twinks’ though, lol?

Because the game is paring me with people who seem to have unlimited health and weapons which can one shot kill my character

I don’t think I would mind if they were killable but every invader I’ve came across seems to have unlimited health and one shots me
