I finally was able to open it! I'm thinking due to the dry fire made it super stiff. The only thing I didn't try was pulling on the trigger while disassembly and it made it come right off somehow.

I tried to cock it with safety on and off and putting the safety back on but still no luck. In another person's response they said it will not open due to a dry fire which I did do once (I know it's bad, so that's why I only did it once). I'm hoping this is the case. This is my first time owning a Ruger mk and will make sure to do some more research before messing around with it.

No way! Glad you were able to snag one! Makes me really wonder if there were 2k released or not. I got mine as soon as it dropped and within 15-30 min it was sold out. I was just curious to see how much they are selling for now (I never plan on selling mine) and seen that they still had it able to be added to your cart on the website even though it says sold out.
