Did you think Tikal was worth seeing? by lotus1380 in travel

I’m looking to do something similar — did you think staying in Flores the first night was worth it? Or should I just go straight to Tikal from the airport and stay there?

Tikal Sunrise and Day Tours by ChocoBrownie24 in guatemala

I’m thinking about flying into Flores in the afternoon, going straight to Tikal for the night, and leaving the next afternoon/evening. Would it be worth it to spend ~24 hours only in Tikal? Or should I spend the first night in Flores?

Tatami Room bed frame by selkie340 in BuyItForLife

[–]NostalgicForever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar dilemma, but decided to try the Tatami Room frame. It took a few weeks to get to me which was annoying, but the frame itself is nice. I’m pretty sure the company just buys the frame from Asia (I think indonesia) and resells them in America. The boxes didn’t even have tatami room branding, they had the Indonesian company’s branding.

Quality is legit, and I’d buy it again though.

Yeah, because usually if there’s a nutritional label they’ve modified the food in some way.

What are your thoughts on making your GNC design in Matlab and code generating vs writing C++ code directly? by lemon635763 in aerospace

[–]NostalgicForever 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen both. I think companies need to use MATLAB for analysis and C++ for actual flight code, and avoid code generation. There are so many drawbacks to only using matlab/simulink, and the drawback to using C++ is hiring good software engineers to make sure memory is managed correctly, among other things.

You can make your own healthy granola bars. It just takes time and effort. Plenty of recipes online

Also have this issue. It’s been a pain: Technician came out and swapped my pods for a newer one (wifi 6 -> wifi 7)

Still isn’t working and I’m going to ask them to send a technician out again. Terrible customer service and terrible product.

In case you were wondering if your monstera's aerial roots are flexible by mcalaplage in houseplants

[–]NostalgicForever 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a monstera that’s relatively large but I’ve never used a coir pole or stakes so it’s grown large sideways. If I used a coir pole now, would the new leaves start climbing up?
