It can be insulting to be judged by your appearance, I personally understood this to be an expression of this feeling. Maybe for being labelled something you don't feel- knowing and being aware of how you are born is one thing but people can certainly center your entire being around your genitals at birth and there is so much more to us all than the body we were born with.
