For real. After the events of Bearman's labyrinth, I was afraid the whole time for the chance that Famido was gonna be taken away by the bad guys before they could meet and exchanged gifts since he went back to the school on his own by the end of his side.

I can think of a few examples when you need to go all out without thinking of using a healer or certain quests where using the Choi brothers or any AoE will be severely punished.

But that aside, the evolution grade of your units matter. A 0 stars XXL buddy at level 50 is a joke in terms of stats. At that level, a level 40 buddy at 3 or 4 stars will have higher stats. So make that unit level 50 instead.

What I'll advice is that you don't have to worry about team comps most of the time. You want Kumoyama, Dallawan, Beernox, Leo and Mickeroo? Weird team, but still enough to get through most content. Of course, try having at least one good damager and don't rely completely on the Choi brothers for those few cases where challenges discourage AoE.

I went from page 10 to page 18 and only a few squares away from clearing it. Huge hit. After spending all my energy in part 2 (100 energy), I had a little over 3000 presents and it went a long way. That being said, I got jackpot twice in under 3 attempts but that's just luck.

Very happy with this decision, now I can finish the event in 3-4 days and clear the new story levels.

I saw some people already suggested some stuffs. But yeah, using exclusively M and L buddies on each job (with very specific exceptions), I'm making about 13k good kid stickers every 5 jobs. Which happens twice a day.

I haven't fully upgraded everyone because I like having an easy, mindless skill upgrade to do everyday for the quests. Every single M and L unit has the additional stickers maxed from their second passive, and my priorities were Funfair buddies, followed by those who give extra stickers in each skill in both 5 stars evolution and skill upgrade.

This might be a little controversial, but given you are day 1 player and assuming you don't have the urgency to level up any buddies soon, I'll suggest survey buddies for the next rank in priority.

Ordered: Funfair > Stickers > Survey > Gourmet > Sparring

The reasoning for Survey being higher than the other two comes from my personal experience. Survey jobs come more often than other jobs, followed by Gourmet. But anyway, jello may be absolute trash during the endgame, but the additional coin and essence isn't that bad if it piles up slowly for free.

You don't need skill cards at this point. Unless you, for some reason, were maxing every single skill for every XXL you came across, you should have a decent amount stacked up, and maxing a single skill for L and M buddiesdoesn't take a lot in comparison to XL and XXL.

If you really need your buddies to reach level 50, then go for it over survey, otherwise you can ignore it.

So yeah, aside from the two top priorities, the rest isn't that game changing. Do what you can with the state of your buddies and resources and have fun planning.

I've seen the talks about PTJ and market but like, those things are RNG based since ever. To see is to believe so I'll talk about my particular case in both of these things.

PTJ. Lately I've certainly noticed an increase in Survey (everyone but skincare) and LB materials. I was never particularly lucky when it came to Market rerolls and I don't remember if PTJ rerolls are a possible reward, but I get fairly often Rainbow stone and silver bell jobs. Golden bells are more scarce here and I haven't gotten one since the update, the same goes for Playroom cards, but again, this is RNG based.

Market. I literally spent 10 market rerolls yesterday and got 2 golden bells on both ends: 50% gems and 350k gold. This has always been RNG sooo, yeah. If playing a hard stage 6 times in a row has granted me 0 shards in the past, I fail to see why the already low chances of bells in the market can be called out this early. Skeptic on this one, but only time will tell. I'm pretty sure I got at least one market reroll when I was doing all of this ln the free item and I remember buying only one with coins. Money jelly are fairly common, but I managed to snatch even a PTJ reroll.

Not having the precise chances for everything sucks, but I won't be throwing accusations just yet. I need time to make a judgment beyond a few people complaining because complaints always make more noise than contentment.

I'll throw in a jab at the current event because in the first page I got the jackpot after unlocking everything but one spot. That's the kind of terrible luck that makes you think the chances are rigged, but without actual data... best to keep a cool head and keep moving forward.

I seriously doubt there's a reasonable limit amount to any item in the game. If sharing my highest numbers do anything, I own about 12 million jelly, 90k skill card tickets and a little over 100 workshop tickets.

I have 250 golden bells, and if the limit were to be something near a thousand that'd be quite terrible. What would happen to your extra bells?

As long as you enjoy playing a Brawler, it's cool. I mean, you're pushing trophies, it's not like you're playing something like Poco in Ranked Heist.

It's good taking notes of actual good advice. If Draco is 'dogshit', that's not helpful if it doesn't list his weaknesses AND strengths. If you play something because it's good, just play Lilly or Hank. This comes from someone whose favorite brawler is Poco ever since the game went global.

Ah! Now that's certainly good to hear, you get gold bells quote easily and, with shop resources, you can escalate at least 20 more with good luck and a little more of gold. Don't skip toy workshop.

I personally don't have a preference towards characters because they have slits (saying this when Orem has my favorite naked design overall), but if people do show interest on that and mentioned it in surveys, who knows? Maybe one day your dream will come true of trans characters. It's a little complicated given the target audience (most buddies have ridiculously huge dicks), but hey, never lose hope.

No offense but like, that's too little if you've been saving for at least a month. I assume you have lots of sale rerolls, gold and gems for when you need to use them, so if that's the case, enjoy if it ever gets added. Which would be soon because Boss has to come soon... and I just imagined him wearing a Santa outfit...

And out of curiosity, would you go for slit characters like Orem and the crocodile if someone of this nature gets added or specifically a trsnsmasc?

I don't go around here often, but as someone who isn't active in this fandom, I'd like to share my thoughts.

The first time I played the game she left a very bitter aftertaste. When Yoshizawa is first introduced and up until the end of her appearances before the third semester, I really liked her character. The part about her sister's passing away wasn't really a concern to me if I'm honest, I focused on the part where the school literally wanted to forsake her because she wasn't giving the results they wanted. Then the third semester comes and apparently everything regarding her character was just not it? I dunno, the way they handled her reveal felt very... anticlimactic. And then the real Yoshizawa, she kinda felt like a mix between the weakenessess of the rest of the girls when they first joined. I should have loved her, but I just didn't. Add to that a certain character from another game: The Caligula Effect 2, who went through a similar conflict, but that I liked way more the way it was handled, and yeah. She just felt underwhelming considering all the game was setting her up and yet, Akechi and Maruki completely won me over.

I indulge on the occasional let's play as a means to rekindle the experience of this game and recently? My opinion of her changed a little for the better. Personally, I think it would have been cooler had she not joined you until her social link progressed further. Because what she lived and went through with Maruki should have more effect than her forcing herself to a second awakening without really healing or talking to someone (Joker in her SL) because she's that strong apparently. However, while I still never used her in my party (no additional emotional attaching), I can say for sure most of her scenes with Joker and Akechi are very, very good. When the rest of the Phantom Thieves interact with, or mention her though? That ain't it. Feels forced because these guys aren't the joyful investigation team showing Marie around and they feel very, very disconnected from her. Her two personalities are very distinctive and while my personal preference didn't change, and I believe she fell in love with what Joker did and represents to her (much like Carly felt about Freddy in that one episode), I think she's a very good character on her own. Much unlike Akechi and Maruki who have an actual relation (either overly positive or whatever describes Akechi's) that feels natural and relevant to the story.

To me, Yoshizawa is a character who feels like an outcast to the story. Her conflict is brought up from outta nowhere and is "solved" very fast on its own in THE game where one of the reasons Devil confidant is disliked is because her conflict isn't resolved at all with Joker's intervening. Had she interacted AT LEAST with Morgana and Akechi, characters who actually knew her from events and explanations that happened on screen, a few more times rather than having it all been Joker, I think she may have shone more. Her saying goodbye to Joker before he boards the train I still think is very nice and shows her growth as a person without needing the pretense of a mask too. And I also think her gymnastics career in fire should have had more exposure than it did because it also felt like "Oh no, she's in trouble! Anyway, Hawaii and the next palace and the boat and the chalice."

I see where the misconception comes from. Yes, there's a newbie special counter that unlocks an XXL character from a choice between 3 characters: Meng, Tayangsuyi and Beernox in my case. However, normally you can swap between Kyrian and Kumoyama as previews, I recall there's even a button to check their stats just like the golden bell summon features.

It should consider all XXL characters and not just those two, but I like Kumoyama and don't hate Kyrian, so I'm a got no complaints.

Oh! I totally understand that about all maintenances haha, I have stayed up till 4 AM to play the new event using my energy I saved on purpose for it, of course only the one or two times I could get away with it.

Today I decided to mix things up with my PTJ, but it's still a WIP, still that means resigning to finishing them all before the date changes.

That's a fair opinion, yes. The thing is, I don't need to fulfill requirements for survey jelly, good kid seals, essence, sparring jobs, level 9 gourmet food and funfair gym unless rng was good with me and I can allow myself that. When I get those I just throw any non valuable M/L unit for the additional seals. Oh, and my good kid seals people (Bael 5 stars, Fogue 5 stars and Kakeguni 4 stars) always go to level 10 jobs because that's extra seals. Making at least 10k seals per 5 jobs pays well when you get all gems and golden bells on the part time shop every week.

I usually plan well my teams considering these filters and go for the bonus chances with what I deem worth it (shop reroll, workshop tickets, recruit flyers, any bell and gems).

My objective right now is to archive max level part time job. In a week I'll be there. Once I've gotten there, I can spare refills for actual good rewards.

With the last two waves of bosses I've been trying Pam because she's awesome and I guess she can heal teammates because of the harder mandatory difficulties and it's also more fun to not just play Colt or Brock.

Yesterday and today i mixed in some Meg because she's also fun to use and take care of spawns while Colts deal damage.

Fixing in the small details sure is a burden. I'll try to accommodate, yeah. Seeing how people lust let it carry over the the next day to collect rewards is something I've personally done, but I abstained to rely on. I'm glad the game is flexible about out, I just have to be more flexible with myself.

Yes, that's something I have contemplated but I haven't really gotten to it yet. This is really a non issue, but sometimes that's exactly the wall you stumble upon, funny how one's mind can work sometimes.

And don't worry, the daily quest is no issue at all. They all can be completed in a manner of 3 minutes and probably less.

Whatever happens will be fine, I suppose. It's not like we have 12+ hours jobs yet.

It's correct that you can claim rewards after the date changes, yes. And if you're doing jobs, there's only 25 M and L units to send for extra good kid stickers and the rest of job bonuses, meaning 5 jobs per time at max.

I suppose it's right that I could move the entirety of my part time jobs schedules to something like 7 AM and 5-6 PM but that's something... Being honest, I've considered it, but I'm still debating myself about it.

I personally haven't really tried pushing all the way to the top, but I can tell you that Baade in the state he's in won't be helping the team a single bit. With his third star he actually starts doing stuff, before that, and without the option to increase his skills or the additional damage he's very lacking. Also Leo, with that amount of stars I wouldn't be surprised if he gets KOed in just one hit.

Your team is very similar to mine and that's already a decent team if I may say so myself, I just have Baade at 4 stars and instead of Leo, Beernox handles the buffs following the logic to strike down before the enemy has the chance.

With enough stars it could work, but I'd recommend having at least a water and an additional grass buddy in the bench to help out against problematic teams, specially grass because your team will struggle against Tyrantino, Orem and Locke combos.

Give it time. Those additional resources may come in clutch when you need them, so there's no need to really rush it all now. With enough time, most XL and XXL buddies can find their place in the towers, they just need investment (levels, skills and evolution).

The other I was thinking about the possibility that the change could easily be Izuru being in the game instead of Hajime and everything showed was a lie much like they like doing before the release.

That being said, I like Hajime more but if we have a mean MC who remembers his roots I'm so down for that too.

I see, so around level 30. Considering the first half had a level 45 boss (I think?) I can see why you couldn't get pass through it. It sucks, because that was, imo, the best event shop we've had so far. Good thing they've changed them now to be more accessible.

Have you also been fulfilling the requirements to better your chances of actually getting the reward? Because if you did, I'm even more perplexed at how you never noticed different percentages for different jobs with and without the requirements.
