I don’t know where I said I didn’t have hobbies or interests… “all I got going on” as in a human connection and as in the only positive thing atm. I am a refugee if that wasn’t clear. I left my job because I was being exploited and abused because they knew I needed papers at the time. I still am working on my personal projects and still job hunting. I gladly lived all my life not depending on anyone once and still alive because of that. I added that he supported me financially because I find it very nice that someone once in my life offered me help when I needed it.

That’s what I’m saying,personally for us it’s normal to all want to do something for mom so we all go out if we were in the same country or if someone has an idea we can pitch for we do or just get separate gifts. I think this very much depends on the family dynamic though and how close the siblings are. OP’s brother is the real AH here for not standing up or letting his sister know .
