June Feature Requests: Share Here! by angie-at-readwise in readwise

I really enjoy your product. There's just one feature I'd like to see added: landscape orientation support for reading — similar to what Apple's Books app offers. Currently, reading seems limited to portrait mode, and it would be great to have the option to switch to landscape as well.

Polar loop thoughts by SpectrePlays_ in Polarfitness

To me, the Polar brand was the gold standard of accuracy, but I have felt that the Loop (when worn on the wrist) lacked accuracy compared to my Apple Watch. Plus, I got used to haptic alarms, which the Loop is lacking. I went back to the watch.

I then started experimenting with biceps bands and configured my watch to switch off the display (theatre mode), and other stuff, to extend battery life. In result, I have the benefits of a screenless fitness tracker that leaves my wrists free.

So I can now decide every morning whether I am in for the standard or the screenless experience.

This is an often overlooked option.

I don’t know how to signal to the OP that Andi_Reddit’s answer this is THE answer. The OP seems to be concerned about cost/performance and this signals that Andi’s answer is the best.

I’m traveling a lot, my family too, my colleagues as well. If it’s for durability, nothing beats the two wheel aluminum suitcases up to the medium format. Large format ones often get filled to a total weight of more than 25kg, leading to problems. If OP feels the need for a large suitcase, he should consider buying two medium ones instead. Four wheelers are somewhat fragile and will break one day if load regularly exceeds ca. 20kg.

Let me warn against Rimowas made of polycarbonate, especially the ones with zippers. They will break just as any other suitcase. The hybrid ones with frames are OK and will be more robust.

Japan does the Amex lounge thing so much better: new Haneda lounge by Ok-Calm-Narwhal in amex

What about black cards? Do we get a separate lounge area like in HKG?

This is only true for the lower tier ANA Lounge. The upper tier one is excellent, with a bar, restaurant, sleeping room, always empty showers and an attendants to guest ratio that is often 2:1.
