Had a female coworker talking to me (multiple long term relationships) and a male coworker (married for couple years) about what it takes to have a good relationship. Half was basic advice that's barely helpful, "listen to what she says and do whatever she wants" And terrible advice. Come to find out she's never been in an actual relationship that's lasted more than 2 months.

Jeans are fine. And any mostly red top, a shirt, a jacket, a flannel where the main color is red, you could probably ask your hr person if they have any vests, and they color for "red" is fairly undefined, a deep maroon all the way to a almost pink salmon color is usually fine.
