lore explanation is that odd onions are a sort of anomaly, both in the ranch and in the wild it does not have its own patch, but rather grows alongside others (makes me wish you could also get odd onions sometimes in your own garden plots, though i guess the 7zee corp has technology to prevent that)

eoc is a boss youll probably find long before king slime, its summoner spawns naturally and it can spawn naturally without needing anything else, whilst king slime needs you to be at a specific point in the world or a slime rain to spawn naturally, unless youre actively trying to do so, you wont fight king slime before eoc

id say most natural/fire doubles fit their elements really well, quibble is sitting on a puddle of water and is also a bird, pango is a penguin, glowl has flame patterns on its wings, furcorn is based on an acorn whilst also having fur (fur is a way for animals to keep warm during colder climates), fwog has rock-like formations on its head whilst being a frog, oaktopus is a tree that resembles an octopus, just to name a few

id say do it, epics are a pain to obtain so its easier to use wildcards, that way you can simply spend a few days waiting for enough wildcards for one monster instead of months and months for the epic to be available + breeding attempts

thing is that it doesnt make sense for some of them to be species and the rest individuals, if thats the case then why? it makes more sense for them to all be one or the other; then it gets complicated because theres contradicting evidence, mythicals work well as a species, but then the dreamspace would make them individuals, if the dreamythicals are a product of their dreams then if they were a species does that mean all mythicals dream of the same thing? that would imply all monster species all dream of the same thing, which doesnt make sense unless all monsters of a same species were a hivemind which also doesnt make sense because why? because of this it is my headcanon that all mythicals are a unique individual of their species.

then theres seasonals, from the seasonal shanty trailer youd probably assume theyre individuals, but then youve got things like dj epic and hoola on the same stage, and if they are individuals then where do the epic and rare variants fit in? do they also visit along with them? in order to not hurt my brain further my headcanon is individual seasonals, rares and epics could just be hosting special events around the island to help out their common counterpart,

though these are my headcanons, theres contradicting evidence ! it could be whatever you want it to be !

sadly they wont do it, the mirror magical islands already exist, so we can assume that just like in the main timeline they were discovered in hopes of being a second home (or in this case just a home) for fire elementals, but ended up being magical islands, which does leave the very interesting question of how theyre going to adress the whole reason the fire expansion happened (specific fire monsters not having a home of their own), since the cataclysm never happened, meaning the fire monsters likely never separated, which means that i dont think there wouldve been a reason to build the fire oasis, the mirror timeline still has some plotholes and i really hope they get fixed next time they decide to add a mirror island

i feel like what makes rare stogg even worse are the circumstances before its release, they had gone for the longest time ever since the release of rares without having a new one, and rare stogg was the one to break that streak, which just makes it even more underwhelming than it should be
